This is what life is all about. Everyday of our lives opportunities comes to us to be uplifted to a position of greatness amongst our fellow individuals. How do you see and relate with those people you think that you are better of? how do you see yourself each passing day when you realise that you are blessed more than others around you?
Awww! Forgive my manners, I forgot to say hello to you my great and awesome friends here. I believe we are doing fine and also know that we are going to have amazing weekend.
Let me continue, I tell you this, the wonderful position and blessings you receive more than the other is not necessarily connected by your good deeds and your belief as someone that worship God in your different religions, it does not matter where you are coming from, who you are and what you believe in, when God wants to bless you he does not ask for permission. It's a privilege given to you by God not by merit rather by grace to prove yourself.
My topic for discussion is "it maybe you today tomorrow another' and this topic cut across all the aspects of life in this world we are living in.
Let me explain some of these aspects of life opportunities one can find him or herself in which requires the person to see others as himself or herself.
ACADEMICS
When you find yourself as the best student in a classroom of 50 students and you start to think that since you are the best student in academics amongst yours colleagues of same department and that God can not make another person greater than you in academics, you start to see others as unintelligent and as lazy students who can't compete with you.
WORKPLACE
What about you that is promoted to head a department at your working place by your company management, when such is given to you, you start to debase others that work under your supervision, and you think the position you occupy is your birth right and can't be replaced by another person?
GOVERNMENT
You were voted and elected by the people to handle government position in order to provide good governance to the populace that voted you in rather you begin to see yourself as a lord and as a dictatorship who does not care about the welfare of his people, you begin to make laws and decisions that will put hardship to the citizens and people under your care and you think that the position you find yourself today is yours forever?
RELIGION
When God makes you the head at the different religions you worship in the world, how do you take orders from God, and how do you place yourself amongst the people you find around you? Do you see yourself as God that people should be worshipping and be afraid of? Do you think that since you have been chosen to be the head any other thing does not matter to you again?
ASSOCIATION
What about the little position you occupy as the chairman or chairlady in an association in your different communities, towns and villages, how do you handle the affairs and how do you carry yourself? Do you take decisions that affect positively the lives of people around you, or do you think it's not necessary to be a good leader?
All of these positions one find him or herself today are not permanent but temporary, so it's very important that you do your best to treat others good with your position, don't take your position to intimidate others, deprive people of what they should have gotten nor make people feel less of a human.
Don't think the life you are living right now is a sign that God loves you more than those that are dead in one way or the other. Don't think that the riches God gave you is only for you to enjoy and use it to oppress others and in your heart God can't bless another the same way he blessed you.
Remember that this life is a stage and there is always a time for one to leave the position he or she holds for another to take over, you can't live forever so do I, so live right! "It maybe you today tomorrow another".
