Cinderella never asked for a prince.
Hello everyone, welcome to this yet another moment of learning, self development and having the knowledge about the things that will help you live right and improve your life and your relationship with the next person beside you. I want you to learn from the story of Cinderella and the prince, and try to find where you are getting it wrong and make corrections to live right and better.
Most of the mistakes we make in life and the misfortunes that befall us are caused by us. Pride and ego have really caused us so much harm than good, and we have failed to actually open our eyes to see the havoc it's raking in our lives and in the way we relate with the next person beside us. What do I mean by that you may ask? Yes looking at the story of Cinderella and how she became the Prince's choice, you will agree with me that it was her humility and calmness that gave her the crown and the opportunity to be the Prince's choice.
She always believed in her self and respected the fact that she was a poor girl who was living as a maid, even though she was a beautiful young maiden serving her wealthy madam, she always believed that one day every thing was going to be alright. Even when the announcement was made that the prince was calling all the young women in the city to come to the palace where he will select his bride, she never worried her mind about it nor took it as an avenue where she will be able to showcase her beauty for the prince to see her, of course you already know that she had a woman who treated her with so much contempt, hatred and wickedness yet she never felt it was an opportunity for her to see light and change her present condition.
She waited and believed that someday luck will smile on her, then, there came a helper in a magical form that made her look more gorgeous and with a dress and a shoe so beautiful and presentable even when her madam refused to bring her along with her when she was taking her own daughters to the palace where every other maiden were gathered for the prince to make his choice.
At last Cinderella who was chosen by the prince amongst the whole beautiful young women that came to the palace. You know the story of Cinderella yourself and how it all happened.
Let me bring it down to our daily lives and how we relate to things around us, most of us have really failed to actually bring down ourselves to know that pride and ego does not lead us anywhere in life. There is a saying that goes like this; "pride goes before a fall" and it's the truth. When you believe that you are better than everybody and no need of you to respect or wait for your time to come so you can be announced, you begin to feel on top of the world and make fool of yourself.
I ask you this question my good friend reading this article;
Do you know that Cinderella never asked for a prince? So why are you seeking attention and trying to make everyone notice you?
Why all these weird attitudes coming from you just because you think you are beautiful or handsome, or because you feel that you have what and all it takes to be at the top and so everyone out there should give you that desirable position you want?
Why are you being selfish and self-centered?
Why not allow your work, your personal effort and good deeds speak for you and take you to that height that you were meant to attain?
I tell you this, there is nothing special to receive when you allow your pride and ego to lead your way, you only get disappointments and disgrace. But if you allow yourself to be chosen by people who find you worthy through your character, integrity and the way you have been carrying your duties diligently, you will have this inner joy in you and feel belonged.
Always learn to be yourself and wait for that right moment when you will be called upon to take what rightfully belong to you.

Beauty comes in different ways, and I totally agree with what you've stated above that showcasing the beauty itself just for seeking everyone's attention for the sake of one's ego is not good it is just another way to their downfall for not seeing the true essence of what the word beauty upholds as a human being wth morale.
