Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more.

Being thankful is one of the greatest roads one will ever choose to follow in other to find and receive the unlimited blessings from God. It's also the only way that could give a man whose heart is filled with gratitude the access to receive more from God and from men, and always be at peace with himself and with his God. It's so painful and heartbreaking to say that most people do not know how to be thankful in life, when they receive goodness and favour from the next person sitting right beside them, they feel too proud of themselves and could hardly open their mouth to say thank you or even send it as a message to the person.

The other day I was watching a program anchored by Oprah Winfrey in one of her talk shows online and she was talking about showing gratitude and thankful when you receive a favour from someone, she said;

"Be thankful for what you have; you'll end up having more. If you concentrate on what you don't have, you will never, ever have enough."

Yes, in being thankful for what you have, it will surely open the doors of more blessing unto your path that you won't be able to control the blessings when they start coming. Most people that find it so difficult to remove their minds from the things that they don't have, finds it very hard to make a difference and that also makes them to stay at a place for a long time without achieving anything in life. It's your duty to always say thank you when ever you received a favour from anybody, you may not actually understand the effect and importance of saying thank you when someone does something good to you not until you need another favour from the same person that showed you kindness which you refused to say thank you to him or her, the person definitely will not like to assist you again because you failed to appreciate the first one he or she did for you.

The man that receives an unending blessings is that man that knows how to say thank you and shows appreciation for that little favour he receives from God and also from the next person beside him.

I have learnt and made it a compulsory in my life to show gratitude and be thankful when ever I receive any little kindness from people irrespective of the person's age, gender, etc, it does not cost anything to say thank you. God our father in heaven appreciates it more when we say thank you to him for the gift of life he has given to us, he appreciates it when we thank him for all the good things he has given us in life as humans, he expects nothing from us except thank you as a sign that we really appreciate what he has given us.

Same way is required of us that we should learn how to show appreciation and gratitude towards our fellow human being when they show us kindness and goodness. When you refuse to say thank you when you receive kindness from people, you are definitely closing your door for more blessings to come your way.
