Outside the base the desperations in the crowd, families and children falling on the run ways trying to reach to safety at the gates of the airport, gunfire blazing and some people still waiting for the flights to come so they can flee the country as Taliban take control of the capital.
It no longer news that Afghanistan state one of the poorest countries of the world has fallen and the government been taken over by Taliban, killings by these murderous terrorists have taken the order of the day.
The pathetic scenes of chaos as desperate men and women, families struggle to fly out of the country before the Taliban take over fully. The American president is taking a bad rap for pulling out even though the United state government had long announced a phase troop withdrawal.
If America the great has spent fifty-three billion US dollars in a 20 years period equipping and training over a hundred and twenty thousand Afghan troops, how did the Taliban of less than a twenty thousand people over run them so fast? And some cases without a shot been fired.
For God so loved the world that he gave his only begotten son that whosoever believeth in him should not perish but have everlasting life.
I started by saying that Afghanistan is one of the poorest countries in the world but it will surprise you to know that embedded within that country are trillions of dollars worth of rare mineral resources and precious metals the world desperately need at the moment.
Geologist said that Afghanistan is one of the world biggest deposits of lithium essential for cast components in rechargable batteries and other technologies vital to tackle climate crisis. As the world switches to electric cars and other technologies, lithium and cuboid are the oil of the future.
How does the story of Afghanistan concerns you? Let me tell you that you are Afghanistan, we are all Afghanistan. Just the way America sacrificed the lives of US service country men and use his military mights to defend Afghanistan so also as God has sacrifice his only son Jesus Christ so that you and I may live.
Like Afghanistan, people might have considered you poor and of no consequence but you have value, you are full of precious stones that the world needs so God has sent his son to die for you, he sent him to fight for you, to let you know that you have future. The Talibans are against this and has been trying to fight and woo you, they are focused and relentless and never give up, they know your soft spots and your weakness, your under belly and your stories so they keep on attacking until they succeed.
The Talibans are the sins that so easily beset us, the last of this world are our addictions, they fight and take control of everything that happens to control us, distract us the derail us from God's plans for us. God promised mankind a second chance through the resurrection of his son Jesus Christ, this second chance is what the enemy cease to stop and destroys.
How did Afghanistan fall so fast even though America gave enough warning? How will you miss eternity even though God has long warned us? How did American superior might not defeat Taliban? How did God's power not defeat sin? America did defeat Taliban and God defeated Satan and sin.
The Afghans only had to grip the victory but they didn't. Instead, they were romancing with the Taliban after all we are all one of the same. They were romancing with drugs after all I can stop at anytime. They were romancing with drinks after all this is just a glass a day. They were romancing with tiktok after all this is just thirty minutes of my time. They were romancing with hatred after all they also hate me, they were romancing with foreign terrorist herdsmen after all let them just help us win elections. They were romancing with bribes after all everyone does it.
This is how the Afghans invited the Taliban, this is how we invited sin in then one day Americans pulled out and one day the trumpet blows, one day life ends and one day it's too late. The few who could leave with the Americans left, the few who could escape ran away, the few who could get on that transport plane scrambled at the fate that will befall those who they left behind. They could have brothers, sisters, father, mother, son and uncles, etc they have probably warned them please let's head to airport now, let's leave Kabul now, let's leave sin now, then suddenly it happened and it happened fast.
They thought they had a few more weeks and days even hours but it happened so fast, kabul failed when the world least expected it then China steps out from no where to embrace the Taliban and take over the precious metals, then the Satan will take this left behind to join him for destruction.
My beloved, we do not have the time we think we have, the trumpet will sound when you least expected it, this life will end when you didn't count for it. It's your name written in the last book of life? Are you going to be part of the resurrection? This is all that matters, this is why God sacrificed Jesus Christ, this is why he defeated Satan and made a show of him.
You can't keep romancing the Taliban and expect that Kabul won't fall, you can't keep inviting sin and expect not to be destroyed. Kabul has fallen. It is a lesson for us all.
