Super Mario Effect: Learning something in a fun way

As I was browsing the Internet, I stumbled across this words, "The Super Mario Effect". Remember the time you play Super Mario. If you played this game as a kid, you can pretty much relate. The goal is get to the Princess, right? But it's not that easy because of the obstacles present in path. And whenever you do die on a certain obstacle, you will just try again and remember that in that part, you need to be wary of that. So the main point of this principle is to focus on the princess and not on the obstacles.

Now in application to our real life, we should be the same. We have our goals, right? But when we try to reach our goals, obstacles and other problems come in the way. And as soon as we see this obstacles we often lose our confidence. This is where we should apply the Super Mario Principle. We should focus on the Princess, which is our goal, and not on the obstacles. Instead of, losing hope upon seeing an obstacle, we should think of a way to overcome it and reach our goal. No matter how many obstacles are there, if we focus on the "Princess" that we want to achieve, we can work our way out of these certain circumstances.

So with all of this information, we can use this as a tactic on studying for a certain lesson or topic. We should not focus on how hard this lesson is or we may not be able to get this even if we pour all our attention to it but rather we should find a way to make our way through it and understand it much better. By doing this, we can focus on our task and learn more. There are a lot to learn because not only that you learned and understand the topic but you also learned how to deal with different problems to get your work done. Through this, studying will be more efficient and you can learn more than what you originally plan.

Applying this principle to yourself will really help you in your studies if you are a student like me. It may also be applied to adults and other sorts of people because even them have something they want to learn and figure out and have a goal they want to achieve. And using this principle is perfect if you're that type of person who worry so much on the challenges you might face.

Always remember, all problems has solutions and can be solved. If you fail at your first try, it doesn't mean that you can never really do it. Just continue your efforts and surely, you will harvest the seeds that you sow.
