A few months ago,
Three o'clock at night. In a small town that is near to my homeland, a firefighter received a call. It was a night shift.
As soon as he picked up the phone, he heard a woman scream:
"Help me. I can't get up."
"Don't worry madam. We're arriving now. Where are you?"
" I do not know"
The woman said in a trembling voice.
"What's your address?"
Firefighter asked.
"I don't know - I'm dizzy."
"Can you tell me your name?"
"No ... I can't remember anything. Looks like someone hit me on the head."
The firefighter quickly called the phone company. And asked to identify the incoming call and location.
"We're sorry ... we can't identify this location," the phone operator replied.
Firefighter spoke to the woman again:
"Can you tell me your phone number? Maybe it's written somewhere."
"No ... I didn't write the number anywhere. What should I do now? Please hurry."
The woman's voice was getting dull and weak.
"Good to see you around and try to tell the scene."
"There is a window in my house on the street side and there are street lights in the street."
"What shape is the window?"
"Rectangular"
"Stay where you are. Don't move too much. We're coming to find you."
The firefighter received no further response except for the injured woman's long breaths. Without thinking for a moment, Firefighter called his captain. He told her to send more fire trucks.
"It's a big challenge and a difficult target for us. But saving someone's life is our top priority."
The captain replied.
Soon 15 fire trucks arrived on every street corner of the town.
The firefighter again put the phone to the ear that the woman was on the line but could no longer answer. She could still hear the sound of his breathing.
Then, on the phone, Firefighter heard a fire truck siren. He told the truck to turn off its siren one by one over the wireless. Fire trucks began to turn off their sirens in turn. Arriving at truck number 12, Firefighter stopped hearing sirens. He again told Truck 12 to sound the siren:
"It's very close to this house."
He shouted.
He had successfully reached the alley of the woman's residence, but the house was yet to be found. She did not know how to find a home. Suddenly the idea came to his mind. He picked up the loudspeaker and addressed the street people:
"We are looking for a woman who is in trouble. She needs our help. I know she is nearby. Her room light is on. Please turn off the lights in your house."
Soon all the lights went out except for one house.
Incredible
The firefighter did a great job.
The fireman broke down the door and picked up the woman, who was dying of suffocation, and rushed her to the hospital on time.
In two weeks the woman was fully recovered and her memory returned. The firefighter did his best without hesitation and he succeeded.
If you do something and don't give up, you can move mountains with your skill and passion.
If we are united as a teamwork society, we can help someone even in an impossible situation.
"We can make the impossible possible".
What a great story! The firefighters did incredibly beyond their job. They don't need capes to be called heroes. They would really move mountains just to help. And they succeeded! Thank you for sharing. 😘
