Stack, Get Dumped On, Repeat
I believe I have bought the dip 7 or 8 times in the last three days or so. I was liquidated on all my leverage plays and destroyed on all my spot plays (thus far). The good news... There's more dip to buy... The bad news... There will be another dip...
I am trying to keep a positive mindset through it all, but it does start to wear on you when your $100 investment hits $50 just a few hours later. I have been buying more when it hits that low point, but I believe I have exhausted my funds until next Thursday, so I wouldn't mind seeing some stability hit the market at this point.
The buying opportunities are plentiful, but seeing that my portfolio is getting wrecked, the access to capital is something that will be an important lesson from all of this for the next time it happens. Keeping a larger majority of your funds in crypto exposes you to all of the risks that the market poses though it also gives you increased exposure to speculate; I think that my main problem has been lacking the balance between investments and savings.
I saw that Khal posted today about how low the price of RUNE and LEO have gotten and that inspired me to dig deep and get one more buy in for RUNE after buying twice over the last few days and losing big both times, once around $4 and once around $3. I was able to stack, now I hope that it stays somewhere near where I bought it because I am fresh out of cash.
I don't know guys, this hasn't been the best of experiences. I'm not going to give up on it, but it is a bit demoralizing. Keep stacking, never sell...
