2) Fat-soluble micronutrients: These micronutrients are inorganic and dissolve in organic solutions such as fat. They are insoluble in water and stored in the liver and fatty tissues. Vitamins such as A, D, E, K, and so on are important fat-soluble vitamins. These vitamins have a major role in the smooth operations of the immune system of the body, bone development, vision, and protection of cells from any internal or external damages.
 

What are the Health Benefits of Micronutrients?

Micronutrients are essential for healthy sustenance and failure to consume them in the right amount is an open invitation for myriad ailments in the future.

However, if a person consumes an adequate amount of the different vitamins and minerals, they can stay fit for a long time without any health issues or concerns. Micronutrients are vital for optimal health and help in avoiding any future health-related issues.

Micronutrients constitute almost every major life-processes. Some vitamins and minerals act as antioxidants, which help in removing free radicals which are the main reasons for various diseases and ageing.

Antioxidants also protect the body against cell damage or any pathogenic attack. Certain diseases are more prevalent in comparison to this ailment such as cancers, Alzheimer's disease, and a range of other diseases including vascular and heart disease.

Although micronutrients do not contribute to the energy requirement directly, they do help in generating energy and properly utilizing it by helping other organs become strong and efficient. Micronutrients are vital for maintaining daily routine activities and help in keeping the body in mint condition.
