In my tribe, there is a prayer we do say, ***"ma nje dabi ejo to koja lori apata ti ko nipa"*** *(meaning "don't let me be like a snake that passed through a rock and doesn't leave an impact").* This is always a prayer of someone who doesn't want to labor in vain. Why are we striving hard in this life? Why are we saving for the future? Why do we give birth and trained them in the right way? Why do you pray always? Why do we study hard in school? Why do you????? These are all efforts we have been through, those rough and tough moments, those sleepless nights, those endurance, perseverance, consistency etc **What do you think would happen if you didn't get to be successful after all of these?** As a student, you don't want to carry over any course, you want to scale through and have a better grade. What do you do? Is it not by staying up late and reading with no sleep most times and at the end of the day, you got good grades. You had distinction. You have eaten the fruit of your labor which is the grade you got. As a mother, you got pregnant, carried the pregnancy for months. Many times, you couldn't sleep because of some pain, you eventually went into labor and gave birth perhaps one or twins. You still continue struggling to train them, send them to school. You couldn't afford a big school but they still studied. They became educated and start working. You are free because they are sending money to you weekly or monthly. You are already eating the fruit of your labor. As a farmer, you got a land, started planting your crops and the likes. You wait for the rain, you struggled to make your business yield and at the end, you eat the fruit of your labor. All of these are as a result of your hard work, patience, endurance etc. You never gave up because you know they will be successful at the end.
What of those who didn't wait to eat the fruit of their labor? What of that student who went through all the stress at school, wake up everytime to read and study hard for exams. He or she graduated and on that beautiful day, he or she was shot dead. What would be the fate of the parent? I have heard a story of two children in the same University who were shot dead during a robbery incidence. The parent couldn't believe what happened, with the shock, the mother died immediately. Two Children on the same day? Wasted effort 😔 There are so many incidence that we have seen or heard and we keep pitying those in such situations. A friend of my younger sister who they both graduated together in 2019 and in December, the guy slept and didn't wake up. The parent didn't eat the fruit of their labor over the son. May we not be attacked on the day of our jubilation. This is a strong and powerful prayer that we need to keep praying because it is a bad thing to work all your life and at the end, nothing to show for it especially as a parent, seeing your children dying while you are still alive. An incidence happened in my Aunt's area last year. The couple have been looking for the fruit of the womb. The woman has always been pregnant and on the day of labor, the babies died. Not once or twice. Then when she got pregnant again, she gave birth to twins but she died without seeing her Children. Where was the fruit of the labor? Are you a writer here? We all are on this platform and many of us would stay awake to be engaging and posting quality content. At the end of the month, we smile seeing our wallet dancing and swaying around us with that much figure of BCH. Wouldn't you be happy that this is the fruit of your labor? Of course I will be so happy because my efforts paid at last. Let me stop here and remember that nothing goes successfully without prayer. We need to always talk to God to keep securing and protecting our lives so we wouldn't make those efforts in vain. I pray we all shall eat and enjoy the fruit of our labor. Amen. Great article of yours. I really appreciate the tittle keep posting my dear friend. Good day and have a blessfull week ends to you and to your family.
Amen🧡. May all that we hope and pray for be fruitful and may all our efforts bear fruit, fresh fruits not rotten.
I thunk, in case of every step we pray to god.. Even before the day of our exam result we keep pray to god.. But if our luck not available for us then Parents, mother, student none will eat the fruits
It is really saddening to work hard and not eat out of what we have worked for and I pray that wouldn't be our portion. Parents suffer a lot because of their kids and it would be their dream to sot comfortably one day to eat the fruit of their labor and I pray that parent around the world won't weep over their children.
A big Amen to your prayer. They need to enjoy what they have worked for and we also.
We will all reap the fruit of our labor as well by God grace.
After a season of hard work, a worker or any career we have ventured, our utmost goal is to reap from our sweats. It's painful to have had sleepless nights, toil in the rain and heavy sunlight and achieve nothing. There was this Bible story that saddens my heart each time I read it, the Jews would have planted and when it's time to harvest, another nation would just come and plunder their goods. Though, God intervened and they never had lost again.
This is why we must also call on God to save and help us when we are about to eat the fruit of our labor.
The prayer of parents is to eat the fruit of their labour which we call oje omo.
That’s why God put the heaven in mother foot. Well! I’ll try to write about this and will tag you , but first i have to complete my on going article.
No problem. I will be expecting it anytime. Thank you
The power of prayers leads us to a successful and fruitful life. 💗
Hmmm. This is deep. May we reap the fruit of our labour in jesus name.
As a blogger, you have been struggling laboring to ensure to that you make something out of it. The very moment your blog starts making in come shows that you have started eating the fruits of your labor. We have been laboring to make BCH and now the price is increasing. This is a sign off eating the fruits of our labors.
You have covered all the aspect of the fruit of our labour, you really diverted into many instances and that is beautiful. We all shall reap the fruit of our labour oo.
Amen. Thank you so much
Very well explained. Absolutely, fruits of labour is relative depending on the need of the individual at that time. It's always pleasurable to enjoy the fruit of our labour and it's shameful and heart wrenching when we don't.
The best is to always involve God. Should we also say those who had gone aren't calling on God? Sure, some do but can we Question God? No! He understands everything.
God cannot be questioned, no doubt. We take the good with the bad. It is well...
This life is a sort of gamble, we spend years doing to school so we can be successful on graduation but what if this success doesnt come. What if we find reap the fruit of our labour after all. This can be really scary.
Really scary and everything just end there. It's a pity but do we have a choice? We should always call on God.
Amen! I love the part where we all struggle and at the end of the day we become successful though people woundnt see the efforts towards that purpose....But my heart bleeds for those who had lost a precious gift from God, to criminal, or to strange illnesses. It's only God that can comfort them. May God help us to reap fruits of our labor in due season. A beautiful morning with a beautiful article.
I am really sad too but God understands everything. Amen.
May we all harvest and eat the fruits of our labor ✨
Amen. Hope all of reap the sweet harvest of what we worked 💪hard. God is all knowing.
After reading your work, I realized that life is unfair. Sometimes we work hard on the things we want to achieve but we end up in failure. I agree with Kristofferquincy that life is also a gamble. Sometimes you will win, sometimes you will lose. Its up to our fate how it will brought us to the future
Yes, I agree. This life is just like Gambling. Our fate decides what comes to us.
You're right about that We won't achieve anything if we will not talk to God and ask for His guidance. No matter what don't forget Him if we will achieve all our dreams...Pray..Do our thing...Believe and I know that in the end It all worth it and we will harvest the fruit of our labor.
Exactly. Thanks for the summary.
Sometimes life is unfair. We want to get some things/persons but destiny won't let us. There's always a reason for everything. We just have to go with the flow and work hard for us to achieve the things we want, and for us to be successful in life. We can always feel the pain because of the problems we'll encounter but there's no problem without solution. After facing the problem there will be a very good result Trust the process and trust Papa G😊
Awesome comment. Thank you so much for your input.
I really pray I reap the fruits of my labour, God help me. Thanks for such awesome article princess ❤
Amen. You are welcome
That's why for me my mom is everything and coz of her prayers I'll always be successful!!
Amen. She will enjoy her labor over you.
Emi yoo ronu nipa rẹ daradara (I will think about it well)
I hope that I will someday reap the things I sow and sacrifice. Let's just trust the Lord.
Amen. let's keep trusting in God.
That brings us to a question- is life fair? Yes, it's unfair to all
I would rather say life is both fair and unfair depending on the situation that surrounds us.
Agreed :)!
It's really saddening when we can't see the fruit of our labor because of unexpected circumstances.. I feel sad reading your examples above 😥 My mother suffered once when our baby died because of unknown sickness.. She was in pain for how many months before she moved on... The same thing happened to my college classmate's mom.. After our graduation, my classmate works hard to support her mother.. He's the only child. But an accident took his life... It's too painful for his mom because he's the only child.. And what saddened us is the fact that no one will take care of them once they get older 😥 For my classmate who died. He didn't even savor well the fruit of his labor.. To be able to graduate from Computer Science course is too tough..but he only experienced his employed life in just a short period
So sad Jane. Most times, I cry for people like this because it is just a bad moment. My grandma (mom's mother) had four children. Three is dead including my mom and it's remaining one child who is also a father now. I really felt for my grandma because she suffered and now three are gone. What a world? I pray may God keep and protect those victims in Jesus name.
