Assorted lettuce and a delicious radish from Kathy's garden. She is not only an accomplished professional but a woman who enjoys getting her hands dirty, planting and harvesting food that she grows herself. This is the first of the harvest this year, and the crops are really coming in! She now grows everything from seed, starting indoors and bringing it outside as the weather permits. My contribution? I make all the planter boxes and trellises. (and help eat the bounty)!

A Hamburger on an English muffin with a slice of Raw Onion, Tomato, and lettuce with ketchup, an ice-cold beer, and corn on the cob. It makes my mouth water just thinking about it. I hope it has you smiling too!

When I make my pancakes, I use a pancake griddle and make neat "Sr-Dollar" sized pancakes. Bubbles form in the top of the pancake so you know when to flip them over (see Picture). During the pandemic, I am fortunate enough to have my own casino in my home. Being the only one playing - and also being "the house" - my losing bets were also my winning percentages! Here is the Trolley driver, an avid Saints football fan - while he was Heckling the Dallas Cowboys fans as we go down Canal street at the edge of the French quarter in New Orleans Louisiana. It was all in good fun, and a treat to watch. When his supervisor came over, the driver confessed to his heckling. the supervisor asked "did you set them straight? " And the driver said "Yes sir!". So the Supervisor said, "well, that is Ok then". (I guess he is a Saints fan too).

My fender "Frankenstein" Telecaster. Cobbled together with parts from other guitars, it was then painted Frankenstein green. despite it's look, it was very playable and comfortable. This is a house in Mid City New Orleans. The heart is painted over the sign that was painted there by the rescue workers (that the house was searched, and if anybody was found inside). Even though Hurricane Katrina devastated New Orleans in 2005, there are signs that remind us that history can repeat. #NewOrleans

This is Great Falls, on the Potomac River, as seen from the Maryland side of the River. A beautiful spot to behold the majesty of nature (almost in my own backyard). The E&O canal is parallel to the river, because of the rocky terrain and dangerous currents.

In the midst of a traffic jam, a beacon of light appears through the clouds. Is this a coincidence, fortuitous, or Divine? I was happy to see the sun trying to dissipate the clouds. It's a signal that the rain is ending, and I may even see a rainbow!

This is a rare "Betty Boop" Silver strike, from the 4 Queens casino in las Vegas. Since you can't win this one anymore, I hope to buy one from a dealer or at auction, like eBay. I have been fascinated by these coins, and they are a disappearing piece of old las Vegas.
