In 2006 I was on a Caribbean cruise, where they had a traditional midnight Buffet, complete with ice sculptures, carved/sculpted foods, and breads that were spectacular beyond words. I sincerely doubt that this tradition would be continued, after Covid and the sheer opulence of it. But I wanted to share this with my fellow foodies. This is a window to another time. After the buffet was served, some foods were repurposed for other meals - especially the decorative pieces and ice sculptures.
