This is a desk that I built for my Grandson in 2015. it's made of Oak Plywood with Pine edging for contrast. He still uses it to this day!

I inherited this collection of stamps from the 1950's and up. It's really cool to see these beautiful stamps, but I can't handle another collection right now. I may be listing them on eBay soon...

I am constantly amazed at my 15 year old grandson's ability to learn new skills quickly! In one day he mastered making balloon dogs and flowers. I am going to rent that rascal out for children's birthday parties! I got him a balloon kit from Amazon - https://amzn.to/3wT9N0Y - and he was off and running!

This tree was hit by lightning in a thunderstorm at my Condominium. It broke high on the trunk and landed on a storage building. No one was hurt, Thank goodness, but we needed a crane to remove the tree.

This is the "Devil Horse" at the entrance to Denver Airport. I was intrigued when I saw it on my return trip to Maryland. Independence Day is the 4th of July in the United States, and my Monkey is getting ready to unfurl the flag! I suspect he will be having a "freedom poker tournament" and light a large quantity of fireworks. It should be fun!

This can cut down on Deer deaths in our area too. It seems deer and most wildlife see blue more distinctively than other colors. We are refurbishing the Elevators in my building. Today I made a box for the surveys, so the residents can let us know if they need assistance while the elevator is being refitted. Since i am a carpenter, a wood box seemed more appropriate than a cardboard one!

This centerpiece, composed of flowers from the garden, was the hit of the after-dinner party! I can only hope that your garden produces an abundance of flowers like this - so early in the season- and you enjoy them all throughout the summer and fall! I hopw this brings some joy to your day.

This is a rotating hardware storage unit, made with wood scraps and left over baby food jars. I believe it was made in the '60's or 70's. Real "old school cool". I have two, but are selling them on eBay, since I don't have a spot for them.
