“Risk” as defined by the Oxford English Dictionary is posited as “ the probability of a negative outcome to a decision or event”. Well, in agreement to this, it can be fairly stated that really almost everyone at every point in life has had to take one risk or the other. For example, chasing a particular goal or vision is a risk, there is probability of success or not, it leaves one with hoping for the best. Another is one who seems to ‘put all his eggs in one basket’ by investing all his/her funds in a particular business, that also brings a risk of him losing all his/her monies. However, the fact everyone has to take risks at some point in time or not doesn’t negate the fact they should be taken, at every point in time decisions have to be made.
