LUNA's fallout today, and perhaps what is happening across all crypto, is a stark reminder that investing is not always about just buying and HODLing. It's never a set it and forget it approach. I tend to think that part of what happens too often in the crypto world is that more "investment" approach is a product of enthusiasm, hype and hope without much else backing up the decision to invest than anything else. When I evaluate stocks in the stock market there are a multitude of things I consider and use to research. Balance sheets, SEC filings, strength of market, strength of product, price to earnings, debt to income, production capacity, cost of operations, factors affecting supply chain and cost of raw materials, EBITDA, margins and myriad other things. All of these things help me to understand fully how my investment will make me money, and whether or not it is a good investment or a bad one. Granted, when it comes to a lot of crypto (if not all) there is little data to support a decision. But there should at least be a very solid reason you hold one coin over another—and you should be able to fully explain why you hold it and why you should. At the same time, emotion has little place in any sound investment decision. An investor's job is not to love something. An investor's job is to make a profit.

Investing really may be affected by our emotion, but thinking wise you need to change your mindset if we want to earn really.
hope all crypto will pump up again grrrrr.
Well written post here . Lots of good insight.
Thank you.
You are most welcome.
I actually bought the dip of luna at 0.0000009 and it got to 0.0001 then I sold I invested $100 and made around $100k.
Seems to be a nice turnaround.
Ph, yes it was.
The called “investment” is also like a game of million. Sometimes you gain, sometimes you loss. But the problem is, how do you expect of some investment if you will do nothing?
All investments require due diligence and knowledge. Otherwise it is but gambling.
Exactly. You need to evaluate it first if it is good or bad to your pocket.
