An awful place
We often take certain things for granted, like our freedom, our safety and most importantly our health!
I haven’t been sick in over 7years and it was normal for me, I was a rolling stone and I was very active.
The first quarter of 2020 was so hard when I lost a close relative(whenever I talk about it, it always makes me sad and I always feel like crying)
The burial procedures were so quick and quiet because of Covid-19.
After everything, I couldn’t understand myself anymore, the things I love didn’t make sense anymore, food wasn’t sweet and my body didn’t feel like mine.
The shock made me ill and the stress of my thoughts again, accept I was grieving and start healing from the inside out. I had to do a lot of things to make me feel comfortable, and that is exploring the internet
Some days are a lot easier than others but am grateful for a place of new beginning
Now, I believe sometimes, we have to fall ill to let our body rest/heal to become healthy and strong again
Never give up: focus and invest
NEVER EVER allow the reason you started something to become the excuse or reasoning behind you not completing it

Reason: "I'm doing this because I need more time to spend with my family.."

I joined read.cash about a week ago. I joined because of the achievements i saw from my upline, tho i was not to impressed with the way the rules where always changing, i just had to keep on moving. Lots of people motivated me @Phronesis @Telesfors , @Gwenie , @Cain , @Koush , @ErdoganTalk and @MarcDeMesel
I mentioned @MarcDeMesel t because i knew him last and he has been more than a help than i ever expected. Tho i do not know him physically or even on social media, he just tends to be a great source of inspiration to me. I don't know anything about Bitcoin cash before i joined read.cash but he and @telesfor opened my eyes to see beyond what i knew and showed me what it can do.
I went to the home page yesterday and saw a post on am interview made by @ralak about @MarcDeMesel , i was awed by such simplicity and power owned by one person. When i first saw his pledge and donation, that was when i knew i couldnt give up, i new i had found my crypto mentor .
A lot of people in this platform has not only taught me about crypto but has also improved my skils ad kept me on the right track this lockdown.

Agriculture is Important
Agriculture is the main occupation of people in Nigeria, especially those in the rural areas. It plays a major role in the lives of the people. It provides employment. Very many people depends on it to make a living. More than 65% of strong and healthy people in the country practise one type of farming or the other.
Agriculture provides food for the large population of the country. Everybody needs food whether one is a farmer,doctor, teacher and so on.
One many occasions, one sees young, strong men developing one health problem or the other because of lack of regular physical exercise. This is common among office workers who sit down and work for long hours under air conditioners. They need to exercise and sweat to keep healthy. Agriculture givesvgood health. When working on the farm, or taking care of fishes, poultry or cattle, one does a lot of exercises and sweat. That is why one hardly sees a hardworking farmer with pot Belly!
Evils of unemployment
Unemployed people are never happy. Since they have no jobs, they have no money to buy things they need. They also have no money to entertain themselves or their friends like those that are employed. They often compare themselves with people that have jobs and feel their standard is low. They feel inferior and sad.
In addition, persons who are unemployed often take to crime to provide what they need. Many of the men steal or rob and that is why there are frequent cases of armed robbery in the cities. The women become prostitutes and spread diseases with their customers. Some even take money and kill others who have not offended them in any way.
Unemployment also forces many children to stop schooling. They drop out because their parents cannot afford to pay their fees or provide things they need in school. While their mates are in school recieving lectures that would make them important persons in future, the others would roam the streets without the hope of achieving anything.
I feel government and the upper bodies should work to encourage private sectors, individuals or group to set up companies that would employ peope and reduce unemployment. They should also engage those in schools to learn different skills or trade.

How to stop yourself from being selfish
For time to time, everyone is expected to be selfish. While it may be promoted by certain facets of our culture, selfishness affects others, often for little or no personal benefit. An egotistical individual often ends up losing friends or loved ones because no matter how charming or engaging an egotistical individual may be, a relationship with an egotistical person is hard to sustain. If you're worried that you're too selfish, and you want to be on the path to gratitude, and humility, then you can do these things.
**Pay your undivided attention to others.**
Remember that, to be a good listener, you have to let go of your own beliefs, even only for a moment. You can't plan your next move, or think about how your own perspective is better or more worthwhile when someone else is talking. Listening to the people around us truly promotes closer, less egoistic relations.
**Place the rest of your needs.**
Sometimes doing what another person needs, and not what you want ultimately also keeps your needs satisfied. Do you really care about what you're eating for dinner? Is there really a need to do the laundry now when a good game is on? Most times, we waste our time on only making a point of being right, when the thing is, there's typically more than one right path anyway.
**Remember that things happen to everyone**
Whenever you're tempted to judge someone or act unkindly, remember that there's life outside that checkout line or highway and give them the benefit of the doubt.
**Getting off my elevated horse.**
It’s crucially worth repeating that nobody is more important than anyone else in this world. Everyone, in their own way, is talented, passionate, and kind.
**Constantly checking in with yourself.**
Egoism is like any other bad habit, it can be difficult to leave! Try to check with yourself consistently and reflect on how your attitude has been lately, so that you can adjust where necessary.
**Does not get stuck in the past.**
Know that even if you've behaved selfishly in the past, that doesn't make you a bad person. People can change, and you too can. You have to leave your past in your path in order to start moving forward in a more positive direction.

Kitchen Garden is the term used for the small area of our house in which we grow vegetables and salads(salad leaves). We must have kitchen garden in our homes so that we can get fresh and healthy vegetables for our daily cooking.
My father is very passionate about gardening ...He works so hard on his garden ...and at the end we enjoy his fresh vegetables... I can't tell you what they taste like😋😋 .... Now a days..My father has grown vegetables like Lady finger, bottle Gourd, lemon grass , spinach, Mint and tomatoes in our kitchen Garden. My mom is the person who has the most effect in my existence, and she made me a better man or woman. My mom has many proper characteristics and values, and being a strong woman, supportive, and non secular are the most critical description of her character.My mother is the most powerful person I never seen.
My mom manner a laugh whilst she tickles me ... My mother means love while she offers me hugs and kisses every night time. At moments while she misses me she we could me recognize with all her hugs. My mom way protection, she desires to continually know wherein I am at.

My friends are intelligent. We can improve your intelligence and use it as we move forward with our goals. I want to inform you about this.
1.Go into a dark room, turn on the light and examine the room thoroughly, then turn off the light and try to move forward in the room. Your brain will be forced and will improve itself.
2. Read a book. You should read it for information. Every piece of information creates new neural networks in your brain, which means developing the brain. You can read in a novel. you can imagine it. you can read it.
3. Keep your brain active, pay attention to the objects around you, study them. Analyze your environment use your brain. This allows the brain to make new connections and reconcile the environment to events

Covid19 confusion
Covid-19 came like a thief in the night and stole all our fun time and businesses. Our gathering and many outdoor activities stopped immediately this monster showed its face to humanity.
We dropped going to holy places to worship. It also stops us from going to hotels, eateries and recreation centres.
It virtually took everything away from us and sends us back inside. What we wouldn't have done ordinarily, like constantly washing of hands, social distancing, using nose mask (when we are not doctors) and other things become the new norm for us.
We had no choice than to adjust or humanity might face a real decline. Even at that, we tried to resume some of those activities but things are not the same. We do thing differently now.
Visitation to friends, family, market and normal house warming, wedding, and naming ceremony were stopped just to straighten the curve and stop the spread of this virus.
In Nigeria, we now have total cases of 19,808 Covid-19. Lagos remains the epicentre of the virus according to the report by NCDC.
Today, i went out to get some things in readiness for my one year wedding anniversary tomorrow, but to my surprise, the street was more than lively.
In all honesty and sincerity, Lagosians did not use nose mask. I had to check myself again to see whether the reality of Nigeria has not left me.
I look around, see people gisting, gather together having fun. Some were in beer parlours enjoying chilled drinks. I had to force myself to make a count of how many people are on nose mask apart from myself. I was only able to count five.
While that is shocking, it is even more shocking that none of these five people covered their mouths or noses with the nose mask. It was below their jaws.
I started wondering what the matter was and had to check online if there is something i was missing.
Lagosians simply don't believe in covid-19 or they have immunity that many of us using nose mask don't have.
Well, you might not really blame them but partially blame the fact that there is secrecy surrounding those infected.
If you ask many Nigerians, they will say 'yes they hear of cases daily but no one has seen anyone that knows anyone who has the virus or died of it'.
In my area, i haven't heard of any but i cannot join such bandwagon to assume that covid-19 is a hoax.
What i saw today proves to me that education and intelligence are two different things. Many so called educated are even the ones championing this view that it's a hoax.
So this is a call to all Nigerians to please protect themselves. Why do we need a proof in the first place to believe that a pandemic declared worldwide is real in Nigeria?
Why do we think the government are lying about it? Why do they create many isolation centres? Why are number of those who died from the infection keep increasing?
Personally, i have done covid-19 test and i can tell you clearly that many people are going out daily for the test.
If these people did not believe it's real, would they have gone out to be tested?
This is a real problem affecting every nation. We should worry that Lagos State Government stopped religious services.
The writings are boldly on the wall for us all to see but i am sad that we choose not to see it. Please guys, protect yourself and your family and stop waiting for proof.

A Day in Fathers Poultry farm
The crowing of the cocks often announces daybreak in my fathers poultry farm.As soon as we wake up, the days activities start with feeding the chickens.Then we fill the feeders with either growers or layers mash depending on the age of the chickens
After this, we fill the bowls with water and cover them with guards so that the birds will not litter it. The chickens peek the feed hungrily. They are never tired of eating.
However, if the chickens are sick, veterinary drugs are added to the water.At noon, we pick the eggs from the cages and put them into the crates.
The afternoon activities include feeding the chickens the second time.. My father goes to the feedmill to buy feed for the chickens.Moreover, the eggs laid after the morning feeding are picked, ready for sale.
On the way home, my parents often discuss the daily sales and other of their businesses.
Earthquake
On the 8th of October,2005, an earthquake measuring 7.6 on the Ritcher scale hit the Pakistan controlled area. About 70,000 people were confirmed dead and about 3 million others rendered homeless.
An earthquake is defined as a violent tremor in the earth crust which sends out a series of vibrating waves in all directions.
Earthquake occur as a result of disturbances or movements within and below the earths crust, especially where there are fault or fractures.For some reasons,stresses are built up within the earths crust. When a certain point tension or intensity is reached or attained, cracks or slips occurs within the earths crust. This produces the shock effect that sends out the vibrations.
The intensity of an earthquake depends on :
~the amount of shift, that is, crustal displacement or movement along a fault.
~the size of the rock mass involved in the movement or displacement.

Discipline
We talk of discipline when people are trained to obey a number of rules and punished if they do not. There is discipline whenever people come together :at home, market, parties, ceremonies, places of worship or at school.
Respect is one area of discipline in schools. Junior students are to respect their seniors while both junior and seniors are to respect the teachers. An advantage of this is that senior students are able to guide the junior ones just as teachers will be able to lead students to success.
Discipline affects students academics. When students are disciplined, they work hard at their studies and come out in good grades. Students who are not disciplined come late or absent themselves from school. When lesson is going on, they do not pay attention. They disturb other students by talking to them or passing unnecessary notes written on pieces of paper to distract them. Some even send text messages or watch films on their handset when teacher is teaching. Of course, they waste their time serving one punishment or the other and hardly have time to study. They, therefore, perform poorly in school or public examination.
If a school academics is good, that means the students are disciplined.
Invest in your future
Schools prepare youths to get good jobs by teaching them to excel in different subject areas. The students often become what they study. Those who study medicine become medical doctors, those who study education become teachers. Youths who read law become lawyers while those who study banking end up as bankers. Many work hard and rise to top positions and their salaries rise with them. When they eventually retire, they discover that they need to run around to make ends meet. They start to pay for a mistake caused by the type of education their schools gave them.
The mistake in becoming what you study is that too many people forget to have a business of their own. They do not have personal businesses which they can mind. They spend their lives working for others, taking care of other people's business and making them rich. They do not think of how to work for themselves and acquire wealth.
If you want to be rich, you must start by buying assets, even when you are employed by others. You buy assets, not liabilities. The difference is that an asset is something that brings you money. A liability takes out of your pocket. A person who keeps buying expensive clothes, handsets or cars is acquiring liabilities. They consume money and never give. You have assets when you put your money in a business which others run for you and give you money.
It is important that one should start having assets before they leave home, get married, have kids, and face the problems of running their own homes.
To be Rich and Educated
People, especially parents, believe that once a child is educated, he will make it and say bye to the company of the poor. All he needs is to continue to work hard. That is why parents put in all they can to get their children educated. Good as this thinking is, it is only half of the truth! Every pupil or student needs to be taught how to become rich. This is called financial education. It is yet to be taught in many schools. What is the way out?
You, as an individual, should first create wealth in your mind. You should have it deep in your mind that you will be rich, very rich and successful, even if you are from a poor background. Whatever a person believes deeply in his mind always come true.
Apart from having your mind on becoming wealthy you should always save at least ten percent of the money you earn and give out another ten percent as gifts to the poor. Spend 80 percent of your income to take care of your needs. This may be difficult at the beginning, but after some time it becomes easy. Students do not earn money that does not stop them from forming a habit that will make them happy for life. Money comes in for them every now and then as gifts, especially during major festivals as pocket money. After all, our different cultures teach us to form the habit of saving and not eating with the ten fingers.
Finally, you should make the ten percent saved to work for you and bring interest after a period of time. This happens if you trade with the money and make profit.
The Moon
Of all the bodies in the sky the closest to us is the Moon. It is so close that we can see it clearly and photograph small details of its surface. It is the first heavenly body on which scientists on have successfully landed rockets and men. There seems to be something romantic abt the moon, for poets everywhere have written about it.
The Moon is much smaller than the earth, having a diameter of about 3200kms, compared with the earth's diameter of 12800kms. It is about 348,300kms away from us. It is called a satellite of the earth because it revolves round the earth and travels with the earth round the sun. It takes the moon about 29days to complete a revolution round the earth, That is, almost a month. Infact, the word, months comes from the word "Moon". The moon does not shine with its own light. Moonlight is actually sunlight reflected from the surface of the moon.
If you watch the moon regularly, you would notice that the shape of the sun lit part which you can see at night appears to change. These changes are known as phases of the Moon.
At the Crescent stage of a new moon, you only see light reflected from part of the surface of the moon. At the time of the full moon, you see light reflected from the full face of the moon.
Observation on Moderators
Considering the new policy, I have a very important suggestion and correction for moderators.
Since the start, I noticed it has been hard for people to have any writeup because they do not know what category it would fit into and therefore they are confused. When they finally think of one, the moderators are meant to take their time to go through the content of the post before approving or rejecting, they should just go about rejecting without checking the content of the post.
For, instance, I wrote on, "The Earthworm", according to my content, the post is more of an inspirational post, healthy living and about nature at the same time but because the moderators didn't read the content, they just reject because they feel the topic is meant to be under "ANIMALS" or "Natural things".
I feel all moderators should work on that. It's really necessary

The Earthworm
I remember when I was younger, I never liked to see earthworms. The way it moved on the ground, pulling in each segment of the body to ahead annoyed me. Apart from its wriggling movement, I hated to see the narrow crooked lines it left on the ground particularly after a heavy rain. Like many of my mates at that time, I enjoyed the fun of sprinkling salt on its body and watching as the tiny creature wriggled and broke into pieces.
Today, I have grown wiser to know that earthworms are friends who should be treated with respect. Earthworms makes the soil fertile. They dig into the soil, eat and and exercise it as smooth tiny round soil with bits of holes in the middle. As they dig into the soil, they make tiny hole through which air comes in to complete the process of making the soil richer. That is why farmers like to plant on soils rich in earthworms. Now that my father has a garden where he plants a few vegetables, I feel great pains if the hoe mistakenly cuts an earthworm when digging the soil. I have come to know that though earthworms might not be as beautiful and smart as human beings, they are very useful to man. They make crops grow well and produce great harvests to ensure enough food for man.
In the same way, every human being plays an important role in the life of others. We may not like the looks and attitude of the other person, yet we have to realize that he or she contributes something, no matter how little, to make life meaningful.
The World a Good Place?
People have different opinions about the world. While some say that the world is a good good, many see it as full of evil, others believe that the world is a mixture of good and bad. Unfortunately, those who see the world as bad seem to be in the majority. As a person who is just starting the journey of life, you have to look at the issues carefully before you form an opinion.
People often have difficult experience that causes them so much pain that they want to say that the world is evil. On a number of occasions, people you trust and rely on as friends disappoint you by acting in ways that cause you pain. This makes some say that human beings cannot be trusted.
Again, you sometimes see people suffering for no fault of theirs. After working hard for about 30 years, a man bought a car and some items needed to make him and his family live happily. One night, thieves broke into his house and robbed him off his cat and some valuable property at gun point. He was left with almost nothing and almost had to start all over again to acquire some of the property. The man may see the attack as the work of the enemy or the work of the devil in this evil world.
If you look back, you will certainly see many good things that have have happened in your life. When you were born, think of the great joy with which your parents received you. You were welcomed into this world as a special gift by your parents, your relations and many well-wishers. In most cases, big parties were thrown at the People have different opinions about the world. Why Give?
Each of us us complete at any given time. When we give to someone, we create a vacuum(a gap) and since nature does not allow a vacuum, fresh natural things of higher quality return to us. Man I'd like a hole, the more you take away from him, the bigger he gets. You became great by giving, not by receiving and not giving.
This also explains the disaster that always follows those who take what is not theirs. When you take what does not belong to you by stealing, cheating or fraud, you start to carry excess load. Nature has a way of removing the excess. Things may happen that will make you lose your peace, joy or health. The loss you suffer is often greater than the offense.
As you learn to earn money, you must also learn to share. You should give at least ten percent of your income or the money you make as gifts or charity. As money flows in, you must let ten percent of it flow out. When you refuse to give or you stop giving, the flow of new and better replacement will stop until you start giving again.
When you accept money offers and gifts with joy from your heart, you keep the gate open. When you refuse, you close a door. You create a road block. Even if you are wealthy and someone less wealthy give to you with joy, take it with thanks and joy. Money loves to circulate or to go round, encourage it. Leave your doors open, both entry and exit. God has given us two hands, One to receive with and the other to give.
Give to your family because charity begins at home.
Always remember that love requires action. Demonstrate it. Give to the poor, charity homes and orphanages, to people who are too weak or old. The more in need your receiver is, the more your blessings. Give also to those who helped you when you where little and growing.
Also give to those you feel are doing well, whether you know them or not #upvotes
Keep one truth in mind. The money you give should make you feel happy. If it does not, then you belong to the thousands who give because they feel they must or face punishment now or later.

The elephant, Buffalo, hippopotamus, gorrila, horse, camel and cow eats fruits and vegetables. They do not eat meat. They are vegetarian. Some call them herbivores.
Fruits and vegetables works as medicine in the body. They have substances that work in the various organs of the body. They have substances that work in the various organs of the body and make them healthy. Apart from giving immediate energy, banana, for example, helps to reduce blood pressure and heart burn. Carrot are good for the eye and skin. The green liquid in vegetables keep the liver clean and healthy. It is called chlorophyll.
One major advantage of vegetable and fruits is that they are cheap and readily available. One can easily grow vegetables in the backyard.
In the olden days, our forefathers used to plant fruits and vegetables in their backyard and they got a lot of benefit from it. Those where the days when a parent would walk to the backyard, cut a few leaves of bitter leaf and squeeze the juice into the mouth of a child clutching his stomach. Within 5mins, the stomach ache would cease.
Why then do we have to wait any longer before we make fruits and vegetables our regular meal.
Child Abuse
Child abuse is very common in families. A child can be abused in different ways, including :
*Neglect - it occurs when a person fails to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, medical care, or education for children. Young children should not be left alone to care for themselves.
Emotional abuse- it occurs when there is a regular pattern of verbal attacks on a child. For instance, when a parent or an adult keeps using statements such as 'You are an idiot', or 'you're a fool' or 'I wish you had never been born'. Such words attack give the child an emotional scars that can last for a long time.
Physical abuse- it occurs when children are deliberately beaten, wounded, bruised, cut, burnt or given any form of physical injury. Such physical abuse mostly leave an injury or scar.
Sexual abuse - it occurs when someone lures a child to be part of some sexual activities. It also occurs when someone subject a child to caressing or rape
Incest- it is sexual activity between people who are closely related. For instance, a child maybe sexually abused by a parent, step parent, a sibling, or some other person present in the home.
Child abuse of any kind is dangerous and has many bad effects such as
*The child is left in a state of daily fear.
*The child may become emotionally unstable.
*It can breakup the family.
*It can lead to the death of the child.
*If a child grows up with abuse, he/she may repeat the pattern with his/her own children or other children.
