Child Abuse
Child abuse is very common in families. A child can be abused in different ways, including : *Neglect - it occurs when a person fails to provide adequate food, clothing, shelter, medical care, or education for children. Young children should not be left alone to care for themselves. Emotional abuse- it occurs when there is a regular pattern of verbal attacks on a child. For instance, when a parent or an adult keeps using statements such as 'You are an idiot', or 'you're a fool' or 'I wish you had never been born'. Such words attack give the child an emotional scars that can last for a long time. Physical abuse- it occurs when children are deliberately beaten, wounded, bruised, cut, burnt or given any form of physical injury. Such physical abuse mostly leave an injury or scar.
Sexual abuse - it occurs when someone lures a child to be part of some sexual activities. It also occurs when someone subject a child to caressing or rape
Incest- it is sexual activity between people who are closely related. For instance, a child maybe sexually abused by a parent, step parent, a sibling, or some other person present in the home. Child abuse of any kind is dangerous and has many bad effects such as *The child is left in a state of daily fear. *The child may become emotionally unstable. *It can breakup the family. *It can lead to the death of the child. *If a child grows up with abuse, he/she may repeat the pattern with his/her own children or other children.

Child Abuse is one thing that can haunt a kid till their old age and is very bad.

I think Child Abuse is very bad, something that doesn't go away. Always remains at the back of the mind if the kid or child who has been abused, years later. To begin to think of such manner of people who would stoop so low and do something as bad or as defying as abusing a child, most especially in this educated and modernise world we are living in. Some children don't recover, others do but one thing is for sure. It leaves a huge mark on the person. Very nice to finally see an article on something that matters and should be taking seriously like Child Abuse.
Good subject. In the end, no one believes it. They say you made it up and refuse to see or hear the truth. Some of these children die, some grow up. I write about it in Diaries. The comments say enough. 💕
Nice piece that needs to be identified and stopped... child abuse is really rampant in our society presently.
