If you're a lover of animated movies just like I am, then 2021 is a year that's going to give us a lot of what we like that 2020 has denied us. Yeah! 2020 has really denied us a lot of fun, especially those beautiful movies that we were promised in 2019 to be in cinemas by 2020 but the pandemic stole all away from us all the fun.
I mean who would even think about watching a movie in a cinema with popcorns and sodas and all this and all that when you're busing trying to survive. When the topmost priority is to make sure that you are safe from the virus that's responsible for the death of thousands of people in the year 2020.
Well, it's not yet over as a wave 2 of this pandemic is said to be coming and out in some countries. But I believe the approach and the preparation on ground to tackle it will allow us to have access to some things in the coming year that we're denied in the previous year, and one of them is catching our favorite movies at the theaters. Most of the movies that have their production paused will surely resume and be in the theaters in 2021.
2019 saw us enjoy a lot that the animated movie industry offered us. We sure have them hitting the cinemas back to back and we just couldn't get enough of them. Frozen 2 is one of the animated movies that will make many not to forget 2019. It is a direct sequel to the Frozen which was released back in 2013 which talks about the adventure of two young and beautiful girls (Elsa and Anna) one of which is gifted with a power she inherited from her mother. Frozen 2 is one of the animated movies that brought into cinemas in 2019 what the fans would regard to as unexpected and that explains why it did so well at the box office after raking in $1.450 billion with just a budget of $150 million. Though the musics featured in Frozen 2 might not achieved what "Let it go" by Idina Menzel achieved in its prequel, the movie sure burst the block when it was released. We also have the likes of Toys Story 4, How To Train Your Dragon, Angry Birds to mention a few making the whole o 2019 more interesting.
2021 will sure see the release of a lot of movies either animated or not but our main focus here is about the animated movies that's been creating waves since the past year and we can't wait to have at the theaters. Well, in 2021 a lot of our favorite animated movies will be coming out. So relax as I take you through the countdown of the top 10 animated movies you should be expecting in 2021. Some of these animated movies to expect in 2021 are movies we're familiar with as they're sequels of the one we've seen, And of course there are some we've never seen before and will sure make an interesting one.
So let's start with
