Smith and Jasper had been friends since their time in primary school. Jasper joined the Reddington primary school in primary four. He was very lazy compared to his other classmates. Because bullies were everywhere in the school and teachers pay less attention to their complaints, Smith played the role of a superhero to defend Jasper.

Since Jasper's father was in the army, they moved from one part of the country to another on transfer. When they came to Lagos, and Jasper resumed primary four, in another four years, his father was transferred ro Jos, the extreme end of the northern part of the country. He was to captain the envoy to ward off bandits that cross the nation's border to attack innocent citizens.

This time, Jasper and his mother did not move with his father. The northern part of the country had been under severe threat by aliens who had attacked the people and caused mayhem. So, Mr. Adeoye, Jasper's father, thought that it wasn't safe to move there with his family.

Mr. Adeoye comes visiting once in a while as duty demands. He doesn't want to be too far from his family. He knows the consequence of leaving his male children in the hands of their mother alone, considering the spite of occurrences going on around with male children.

One day, as usual, he returned home and found his son, Jasper with an iPhone worth $750. He could not play a blind eye to it. So he questioned:

Where did you get this phone?

Jasper looked at his father with fear and said:

It belongs to my friend from school.

His father was not satisfied with the response he got from him. Then, he devised a plan.

The next day, after Jasper had gone to school, Mr. Adeoye trailed him and saw that he didn't go to school, he had branched into a heavily secured facility. Then, he wondered what business his son would be doing there. You know, as a father, he got so infuriated and went to the army barracks in town to demand a troop of heavily armed soldiers to follow him down there.

He had first consulted with Jasper's secondary school to find out how punctual his son had been. It was there that Mr. Adeoye discovered that Jasper had not been in school in the last three weeks.

When the soldier-wielded truck arrived at the heavily guarded property, they demanded that the place be opened immediately or be razed. The security head at the facility quickly put a call across to the inside about what was happening here at the gate.

Everyone in the building began to run helter-skelter fixing up their tables and removing every document that could cause any suspicion or implicate them.

When the gate was finally opened, Jasper was there at the reception, waiting for his parcel of cracks to be handed to him so he could deliver to already waiting customers. Since the red alert, he was made to be a visitor and never to give any information concerning activities in the facility.

As soon as the soldiers entered, Mr. Adeoye followed them in. His anger grew when he saw his fourteen years old son sitting at the reception instead of being in his classroom. He landed a very hot slap on his jaw as he tried to explain.

They bundled him into the black Maria waiting outside. The manager of the facility and two others were picked too. Then, they went to the school too and picked the form master and the principal.

It became a national matter because of the way Mr. Adeoye handled the situation.

The teacher did not or the school who.were supposed to reach the parents confirm why their wards aren't in school did not so. This has caused my children to be out of school.

Most parents too don't check up with what has been going on in the school of their children. Therefore, creating a loophole for children to perpetrate their evil and nefarious acts.

This is actually a problem we are having today in our society. Parents and teachers alike seem to have given up on the task of been up to date on what the children in their care are up to

Nice wrote as it could be a true life story happening or happened somewhere.

Yeah we have to be cautious of our children as alway. Most times we think they are not wise yet or they don't know what they are doing. But the biggest surprise is they even know more than we do.
