What happened back in August 2017 gave a deep impact on those who truly believe in a true peer-to-peer electronic cash system. The fork was the term used in blockchain technology which resulted in more division. Philosophical differences resulted in more havoc, and fraction among supporters. I have read how technically inclined each to his ideas regarding the "divorce" as I wanted to call it in a way that non-crypto believers would understand its effect created in the crypto community.
Bitcoin still in its infancy period, as per consensus since it has less than 4% internet usage hence there's still 96% of the market that is not aware of how crypto can be of great usage. Please refer to what Kim Dotcom explained during the clubhouse discussion wherein BTC maximalists tried to censor but to no avail. While listening in to it, I can't help but wonder why on earth they won't even let him finish his statement? Why they always sound so defensive? Hence, I commented on Kim's Twitter as there was so much wisdom to what he had shared in terms of MASS USAGE and they like to refute insisted its nodes, hash rates and block size.
Likewise taken a comparison between Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash to what extent that BCH is likened to a dollar which more of a threat to the US government. He's very much articulate and dignified the way he answered them, a true visionary in his essence.
Now the point of this writing is that whoever listened to such discussion especially if you're very new to crypto and you belong to the 96% market share, would momentarily be confused and would say, what the heck is going on? What on earth are nodes, hash rates and blocksize has to do with my DAILY TRANSACTIONS? How am I going to pay my monthly bills or daily expenditures with those block sizes and nodes which protect the network? thinking how naive this statements could be, but what is crystal clear shows that mass usage of cryptocurrency generally would save the community and preventing the government from regulating it. Utility is the key.
When Roger Ver also explained, that "as Bitcoin Cash is spendable all over the world, more and more people are going to start using it as their store value." in his response to Angie Lau, Editor in Chief of Forkast.News, hence concerning the divorce which led the people more to confusion and division especially to the crypto enthusiasts, has a call for good leadership in the crypto space.
This has always been a focal point when the fork happened in 2017 and as far as Bitcoin Cash was concerned, with the strong foundation and adherence to the original version for Bitcoin, this can not be refuted by anybody else. In addition to the steadfast support of Roger Ver himself in spreading more awareness about the usability of BCH together with the supporters in the community through the launched of Noisecash itself, sharing the same vision, we remain optimistic for mass adoption.
Bitcoin Cash ecosystem for a regular and non-crypto believer would momentarily understand that once it is used for a daily transaction, being used to pay monthly bills and the more will be utilized for payroll as mostly in the world is into employment, then people would gradually understand how VALUABLE cryptocurrency in general especially that of Bitcoin Cash, taken exactly from the post of @Pantera, "Bitcoin Cash ecosystem is not only attracting investors, but most of all it is attracting users."
Do you think they would be concern regarding the nodes? the block sizes? the hash rates? when in its simplest term, cryptocurrency like Bitcoin Cash or Bitcoin still an alien for them? Given an example when I told my hubby this morning as we were in the car that Bitcoin Cash reached $800 and his reaction was, "and so what does it has to do with our current currency?" taken into account that he's not into crypto then it was expected that he doesn't comprehend its implication therefore my simple explanation was that, "well if you have a portion of Bitcoin Cash, you earned a good amount of money that you can pay to buy essentials for the baby or for our daily needs. Likewise if we need to travel anywhere in the world where Bitcoin Cash is accepted like Thailand, Antigua, Japan or even visiting our relatives in Australia for example, we don't need to buy dollars instead we can pay using Bitcoin Cash." and his reply was epic, "well then honey, have more Bitcoin Cash. It is more practical if we can use it for our daily expenses."
There is so much to educate about cryptocurrency especially Bitcoin and Bitcoin Cash. I won't dwell much as how it took me almost the whole day explaining to my friends who were into eCommerce and how they could use Bitcoin Cash as their mode of payment, I did not even mention yet the transaction fees as they're more interested in it as a store of value. Set aside the network size and all those technicalities when it comes to trading it but more so on the practicality that they could use it on a daily basis.
Would love to connect with you via Noisecash.
