She can't sleep that night as she wanted to erase the thought of him.
She has to learn how to let go. She needs to accept that it's all over between them.
Life has to go on therefore she has to keep going as well.
She is strong and successful but for some reason, her senses won't cooperate with her.
She was preparing for his "surprise" and she went to pamper herself after work that day.
She has put on her best and her most elegant dress to impress him but there's no sign and sight of him at all. She's wondering and decided to call him up.
She came a bit early because Leyla knew, her fiancee would take a bit of time since that day they're supposed to meet was a bit hectic.
She was enjoying her mint tea while asking his whereabouts over the phone.
"Where are you?" she inquired.
"I am sorry Leyla, I can't make it!
"I am on my to the airport now and I am not coming back! Bye!'' he hung up!
She froze! she could not move at all and tears started dripping down on her cheeks!
Just a thought came to my mind when I remembered a friend long time back sharing this surprise story of her ex-boyfriend who happened to call it quits over the phone. I didn't know how to console her at that time but my presence was enough somehow.
Guys when you plan to break up with your girlfriend, make it proper and be gentleman enough to tell it straight to her face!
If you sort of fall out love then be honest, don't run away just like that!
