Is It Wrong to Have Sex Before Marriage?Why Do We Have to Wait?
We are on our master thesis back at Uptrennd University and my topic which has great relevance to the moral issues of our society still boils down to the idea of "***premarital sex and chastity."*** I already published part 1 ( https://www.uptrennd.com/post-detail/what-is-wrong-with-sex-before-marriage-why-choose-chastity~ODU4NTc4 and part 2 (https://www.uptrennd.com/post-detail/what-is-wrong-with-sex-before-marriage-why-choose-chastity-part-2~ODU4ODIw and before coming up with my conclusion for part 3, our chancellor gave me an idea to have a poll to expand how far my topic can go.
As per Part 1, mostly the comments where in reference to my four respondents who have shared their thoughts about my topic. They have the common denominator based on their preference and exposure. They all agreed in a way that it must be ***done within the perspective of love and not out of lust*** as per Dania's statement, my previous student who is now based in Australia, together with a friend who is currently working in the Middle East shared just the same where he said, there's nothing wrong with it because it is ***"human instinct."*** Odette, a nurse by profession and based in Germany, shared that "*it's the couple's way to express their love for another."* Aya,a globetrotter, stated that, '"*a woman's virginity is for herself alone and not for anyone else. Your body, your rules. It depends on a person's preference and belief."* https://youtu.be/uqIv3BQ3Rnw This is to inform the community that I came up with this topic ***based on my observation and evaluation of where I am currently living and teaching here in Seychelles.*** There's a higher rate of students or teenagers at Pointe Larue alone who got themselves "impregnated" not knowing the full consequence of the act. This has become a dilemma not only for teenagers but those who have a strong standpoint regarding the sanctity of physical union in the context of matrimony alone. Some people whom I had in contact with personally shared their views, had they did not get pregnant at an early stage of their relationships, they could have had expanded their horizons either into becoming a career-women or being able to do things freely before having a child. ***Thomas Aquinas, his Summa Theologia on Marriage and Sex*** https://theo.kuleuven.be/apps/christianethics/sex/history/h2c.html *stated that what makes premarital sex wrong because i****t can bring the possible child into a situation where it does not have both parents to look after it.!*** https://theo.kuleuven.be/apps/christian-ethics/sex/history/h2c.html Again the consequence of having a baby prior to matrimony especially the couple who are not "ready" for whatever responsibilities it incurs, would sort into the worst scenario of abortion. I remembered when hubby and I went for my prenatal check-up as it was mandatory here, the nurse asked both of us whether it was a planned or unplanned pregnancy? At once I was wondering what made her asked the question and she clarified that most of the couple she had encountered were having "***unplanned pregnancy"*** and the rest was history. So the poll that I asked whether " ***It is Wrong to Have Sex Before Marriage?***" got the result of ***100% for yes.. none for No and 1 for Maybe***. What's your stand on it?
*I would like to take a chance to ask our community here what's your view about the poll and whoever can share their most genuine and rational factual opinion with proper sourcing (not less than 80-100 words) would definitely have tips from me and will include it to my part 3.* **So are you ready?**

Its totally wrong to have sex before marriage, tho in our society today sex has become a common act done in any relationship even our young ones engage in it.
Oh I know it wasn't right? So, it is? Char. Lol. I am raised in a very conservative family so for me it is not right, but that does not mean I wouldn't do it. Lol. Haha. Kidding, seriously, in our family we were raised not to engaged in any sexual activities if you and your boyfriend are not yet married. We value our body (for most women, not everyone here though) and maintained it's purity and sacredness. It is by my words of my mother and aunties "the greatest gift you could give to your husband on your wedding night". So I wouldn't agree and encouraged most teenagers to engaged to sex! Don't watched porn omg! Haha. Will just heightened your curiousity about sex, increased your libido and that is bad! Sex can wait. If your lover can't, is he truly for you? This is why I will remain single forever! Lol. Hahaha. Pero walang forever. Hahaha This is only my opinion and this is how I am raised. So do not hate meeee. :)
"Do not waste your seed" - God What this could mean in reality? Total ban of sexual acts outside marriage? I interpret it differently, it basically says: do not be sedated by the opposite gender, do not be sex-addict, choose very wisely who you have sex with. If you have a girlfriend or boyfriend for years, then you can have sex with her/him. But you probably should not sleep around with people in a tinder-style. Do not be sedated by prostitutes, do not give yourself cheaply EVER. Traditionally, these were advice for girls from their parents, but the bible originally aimed these advice for men. Men is the key and women is the lock? Bible is very clear about it, that even men should not sleep around with random women. Otherwise, bad things will come upon you: you will be sedated by the chance of having a sex, you will be a white knight who can be controlled by a moan, or an incel - or if you can get into a lot of beds, you will have stds. God despises this.
hey I am so sorry to have checked on your comment just now @Geri...and yes I agree to what you said regarding the multiple partner which could led you to have stds and this is gruesome.
