When we read the Guinness book of world records and see what people are capable of, something inside us makes us believe we can achieve something unique. We hear stories of people who have done the impossible and we don’t believe or rather we tell people we don’t believe meanwhile deep within we are curious about how they did it so that we can do it ourselves. Ministry stories of healing and miracles captivate us and we become followers because it is taking place right in front of us or in front of someone we trust. How about the monks who are stabbed but not pieced or stand in a fire but not burned.
Humans are capable of reaching unexplainable heights in life. Read success stories and discover where they came from at the beginning of their journey when they showed no potential of becoming anything worthwhile in life and now we idolize them for working hard. Let’s look at two common yet inspirational stories, Steve Jobs and Tyler perry. If you don’t know about the two then you need to do some research. Steve Jobs became the well-respected billionaire who created and developed ‘Apple’ the most dynamic computer and software system of our times. Lost control of his company and later took it back and made it better than before.
Tyler Perry has been doing theater for so long that it seemed as though he will only be a stage actor and nothing more until his determination took him to the point of creating movies and owning a multimillion-dollar studio or studios rather. From a nobody to somebody that inspired so many young and old black entrepreneurs to achieve their dreams in music and acting.
That's dynamic and encouraging but what about the possible impossible, such as magicians and preachers. There is Chris Angel a magician who levitates from building to building or how about pastor Chris Oyakhilome who prayed for cancer out of bodies. Now, you can call it false because you are not around it or not personally invested in their theatrics but yet it happened whether we believe it or not something unexplainable took place.
You, what is within you. Maybe not the unexplainable or the unachievable but something that will require work is deep within you. Let’s ignore your age and pretend you don’t know how old you are and you begin to set goals for a year (exactly 12 months) and we list them as follows:
Exercise: extreme workout, running 10 kilometers / 6,2 miles or defining your body with weights and gym.
Language: learning a new language or three to a fluent standard.
Finance: practicing savings and exercising earnings through multiple incomes.
Spiritual: discovering your heritage and completing your inner journey to a leadership position.
Education: Mastering what you already know and learning something you have set in your heart.
Self-development: Doing what you always wanted to, that’s not on this list but in your heart
What will you achieve?
What will happen when you become greater than what you imagine, I, personally, don’t know but I assume you’ll be great beyond expectation. I can’t talk from personal experience but I assume you become more successful than you think. I wrote this down for my personal encouragement and I decided to post it because I needed to post something for the platform and it found you. Maybe, most possibly, it was not written for the writer but the reader. You will achieve entities that the writer of this article will never see but creates the desire you need to fulfill.
I am great but you will never understand my greatness unless I tell my story but why? My wife and kids are living the dream life because their dad and husband have sacrificed for their happiness and not public approval, my power does not need to be showboated but for personal accomplishment.
What are we truly capable of and why don’t we become it, depends on how hard you are willing to work towards it.
