Lately, with the BTC fees reaching the ceiling of $60 too many understood that Bitcoin stands no chance to ever be adopted as a payment method. Moreover, the proposed layer-2 solution, the Lightning Network, was also found to require hundreds of dollars of fees to open a channel and make a transaction. A custodial scaling solution (explained in one of my previous posts "Bankcoin ($BTC)") is how the Bitcoin Core community wants to move forward.
Bitcoin Cash has a considerable lag in marketing when compared to BTC or even some other cryptocurrencies like Cardano, Dogecoin, XRP.
It is ahead in speeds and low fees, it has a fast-growing network of merchants and increasing user adoption. But we are still behind in terms of marketing and brand awareness.
YouTube
We are not only lacking in numbers there. Most Crypto Youtubers care a lot to keep shilling any altcoin but there is very little reference to Bitcoin Cash while most of them are following the BTC narratives.
We have some small YouTube channels except for Roger Ver who attracts tens of thousands of views on each of the videos published.
Marc De Mesel, Hayden Otto, and a few more are trying to change this, but the exposure for Bitcoin Cash is still limited.
We have quality content creators on Youtube but we haven't supported them as we should have.
I list a few BitcoinCash related youtube channels and YouTubers that frequently discuss Bitcoin Cash without any bias. It is up to us to make a small difference by subscribing and following these channels and watching the Bitcoin Cash material.
A few more Youtubers I have recently found and watching frequently are:
Vlad Ivanov (mostly trading channel)
1stMil.com (the guy that offered to buy 111 Tesla with BCH)
I know that there are many more and I may have skipped some that are very important, you can always inform me in the comments and I will make additions to this list.
Somehow YouTube is giving as the top result for Bitcoin Cash search, a video clip created by a Bitcoin maximalist that is misleading and unfair to Bitcoin Cash.
Hayden Otto is on a flipstarter campaign to fix this and allow the Bitcoin Cash userbase to control the narrative for Bitcoin Cash. Watch how:
This one is difficult to manage anything. The censorship, the one-sided information approach according to the whims of Jack, and the misinformation thrive in Twitter. I honestly have no idea how can we change this, how can Bitcoin Cash become competitive in an NPC-infested social media that is biased in favor of BTC and censors a large number of Bitcoin Cash posts.
Twitter will one day get what it deserves. It is just that it can't help us in our cause today. Jack Dorsey has been supportive of Bitcoin but still hasn't understood the whitepaper. He is just using Twitter to increase the profits of his other company, Square, and the CashApp that attracts millions.
He is trying to eradicate competition to BTC and tweets like this give us a clear answer if anything will ever change:

Youtube and Twitter are two of the most important tools for marketers to increase awareness of their products. We give to Bitcoin Core, that it managed to outperform anything else in both, and those involved with its marketing, had the self-interest to learn more and keep promoting certain narratives. While annoying and self-centered, most of these influencers managed with the help of Twitter to spread BTC awareness and increase the userbase of investors. The userbase of the blockchain didn't increase though, as it is lately only exchanges moving BTC and creating new accounts.
Marketing increases the price of a product, but not its real value. However, without a potent marketing plan, there is limited adoption and exposure of our product. While Youtube was mostly indifferent to cryptocurrencies, following Google's logic to keep distances, Twitter with Jack having conflicting interests between his companies, managed to utilize all its power to spread Bitcoin Core to financial illiterates.
We can follow some Twitter users that can give good replies to the BTC maximalism side.
A few Twitter accounts I suggest following are these:
Marc De Mesel (top recommendation)
Roger Ver (top recommendation)
pokkst (One of my top recommendations together with Marc and Roger -Bitcoin.com and Pokket wallet dev)
wisewizzz (very active and always on point)
DavidShares (also very active, sharing great content)
These are just a few recommendations, I am following hundreds and I'm adding more every day. These are some of the most important personalities and organizations dedicated to supporting Bitcoin Cash and posting frequently on this platform.
Number of Tweets:

This chart explains the difference. The number of daily tweets about Bitcoin is often hundreds of thousands of times more than Bitcoin Cash.
Wikipedia
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bitcoin_Cash
The article on Bitcoin Cash certainly needs changes. Wikipedia articles get constantly changed as editors are often creating biased articles or spreading misinformation. Reading the article we find many parts that are misinforming the public and are creating a negative feeling for Bitcoin Cash to beginners that don't understand the constant misinformation war by the BTC side.
Bitcointalk - The Maxis Lair
Older "trusted" members of this platform have been for years hunting down and flagging other users that just wanted to discuss the options Bitcoin has. Bitcointalk is the epicenter of the BTC propaganda, it is a forum where censorship thrives and old members will even put "scammers" tag on anyone expressing a different opinion. This kind of attitude is disgraceful and a big reason most of the early Bitcoin adopters abandoned this forum. Very few of the original members of Bitcointalk from the 2010-2011 era and even from 2013-2015 are still active today.
The main reason is the extreme offense from Blockstream employees against anybody that doesn't follow their narratives. Many top users of this forum, those that flag others are performing these actions to promote their self interests.
This is the narrative center, this is where ideas of Bitcoin being a currency will get trashed, ridiculed and all constructive criticism will meet the wrath of the legendary bitcointalk multi accounts. If you write a valid argument, you will have to spend two weeks replying to all those trolls that either think this way they protect their bags, or they are simply paid to do so.
Bitcointalk today has lost all of its previous glory. It can only be used as a reference for the early Satoshi posts, and the early adopters, but nothing more. 99% are still there for the bounties, while the rest have no purpose in life other than to pump their bags and think this forum helps them.
I have abandoned Bitcointalk years ago. No use, no real communication, no exchange of ideas or constructive points made. Bitcointalk under Theymos management and the rest is a waste of time for posts created after 2015.
We have read.cash and noise.cash where we can write and express our views and communicate in a constructive manner instead of following blindly the rulers of bitcointalk. I think that the bitcointalk forum is a lost cause since it is under the management of certain individuals and nothing can ever change.
Marketing and the brand name are important. While we know that Bitcoin Cash is closer to becoming what Satoshi had envisioned, the Bitcoin maximalist side has had a huge marketing campaign with the help of some people like Pompliano that understand a lot about the market. It wasn't about adoption and utility anymore, it wasn't even about Bitcoin becoming a store of value. Pomp and others played the card of making money fast with Bitcoin and delivered results too. It has nothing to do with technology but all about the ever-changing narrative. A huge number of financial illiterates and millions of bot accounts followers are competing for the most unrealistic arguments. Anything as long as it pumps the bags until the whales start selling.
This method will not work for the long run. Bitcoin Cash is not a failure network with $50 fees. BTC required all the lies and propaganda to succeed. In the meantime, Bitcoin Cash has proven to be the successor to Bitcoin, the currency and network that Satoshi envisioned and one of the top methods of exchange that can scale to reach mass adoption.
We don't need to lie about Bitcoin Cash and we don't have vague narratives and arguments like those from the BTC side. It is going to move forward increasing in numbers and with the limited resources we have, we will all do our part and support Bitcoin Cash until it succeeds.
