In my post: Bitcoin's Perfect Symmetry In Replacing Fiat (link: https://read.cash/@Pantera/bitcoins-perfect-symmetry-in-replacing-fiat-5b10bd39), I made a horrible mistake. I provided the US M1 supply chart and didn't research the reason for the extreme rise of money M1. This kind of rise is impossible in an economy like the US and only resembles charts of failing economies that quickly printed 3-4 times more than the money in circulation.

The real reason for the huge increase in the M1 chart is account changes as I found today from this source. https://www.collaborativefund.com/blog/the-fed-isnt-printing-as-much-money-as-you-think/

It is inexcusable and I hope that it didn't affect anyone negatively since the post is from one week ago.

Wow! You still go over your old post to validate what you wrote. I made an error once in one of my post but after I realised the mistake I didn't bother changing it since it seems no one noticed.

I can remember going through this post of yours but I'm somehow new to all these ,so I couldn't comprehend most to notice the error.

I didn't delete anything from the post, but I inserted an edit explaining the mistake.

It's always a good idea to double check your sources. Who is writing the piece and what do they gain by promoting their opinion. Including the above correction.

I'm glad you caught your mistake.

It happens in publications all the time. You're in good company.

The problem is that I should have thought it was some kind of accounting change. I am disappointed about this, really.

I'm so sorry. I understand that feeling of disappointment. But don't beat yourself up too much. Live and learn from it.
