Musk on SNL tonight! Should we care?

10 84

I was reading that Musk will be visiting today the "SNL" and thought what the heck is this now.

SNL... SNL... must be something really important. Possibly a convention, or a major think tank, or perhaps a meeting with government officials.

I thought of many words that might match this SNL and when I found what it means it was very disappointing.

It seems this is a show American's love to watch called "Saturday Night Live" and Elon Musk will be the guest of honor in this show tonight.

I can't even find a suitable title for this one, but I am expecting price action and also I am expecting the moment the Doge dump begins because this is already beyond ridiculousness.

I can't care any less about that, but what I keep reading from the Doge noob community is how important this is for their Dogecoin bags.

I don't care if I hurt the feelings of someone but no, it isn't. And Musk is not important either. Anything Musk tweets or says does not change the fact that Doge is a useless coin, and currently, it is also useless as a meme, as its time has passed. It wasn't a very successful meme either and nobody would spend more than ten minutes with it.

As a cryptocurrency, it is not something special either. Just having changed a few lines of code from Litecoin or Bitcoin, I don't even care where it was forked from and created a huge supply of hundreds of billions of coins. It is weak and has a very limited use case. And the current fees that reach $2.5 for each transaction just prove how weak a cryptocurrency Doge is.

Anyway, the so bright Gamestop investors that are actually sheep following sharks, they now went in Doge and I really don't think it can get more ridiculous.

Nobody "loved" Doge. It has had its series of failures and scams and nobody ever cared to shill it at all. Except for Musk. Doge was something he instantly fell in love with. Literally with Doge. Not any other of the thousands we have that have better development, better code, better features, but he decided it is Doge he should pump.

Enough about Doge though and enough about Musk. I am very tired of Musk trying to reach a meme status and be remember forever for manipulating the markets.

My point in this article is that outside of the US, in the rest of the world nobody cares about "Saturday Night Live". It is not our culture and like baseball, American football, the Superbowl, the Thanksgiving day, and more events in the USA, it doesn't concern the rest of the world. We respect the celebrations and the 4th of July, but we don't know a lot and it is not our heritage.

When someone is talking about Dogecoin he is not just talking to Americans. There are hundreds of millions of Cryptocurrency enthusiasts outside of the USA. You can't just exclude everyone outside the USA from a decentralized cryptocurrency. I just don't understand this logic.

We enjoy American TV series, movies, the NBA, yes this is great entertainment for everyone. But nobody knows your NFL heroes. Nobody watches the Superbowl.

When referring to an audience, you consider a lot. This is a mistake to think that because you enjoy doing something, or because this is your culture, others should know about it.

When we are posting articles we refer to readers from every part of the world. We can't take for granted they will know everything. Like it or not, English is a universal language, no matter the website someone is posting on.

So it's Saturday Night Live tonight and Dogefather will be talking about his favorite topic: The Doge! Yes, all the Dogecoin investors are waiting for their Dogefather to say once again the words and perhaps even say a catchphrase like: "Doge to the Moon" so they will see their Dogebags pumped to the moon.

What will change if Musk says the magic word. What will happen when he spits the word "Doge" and the camera zooms in some silly grinning face Elon will do. Excluding the fact that Dogecoin may be owned mostly by people outside of the US, that will not even care to watch SNL, it just proves that everything is done and said the last few months in the cryptocurrency world, is just hype.

Musk is McAfee on steroids when it comes to popularity terms. By pumping Doge, he also pumps BTC. And this is the investment he is indirectly trying to protect.

Sir it is clear sooner BCH value pumps to maximum.Although it takes time but I can't wait for price of BCH>price of BTC. Sir it would be honor if you see my articles about flaws in BCH user.Thank you. https://read.cash/@Zeshan3333/super-flaws-in-bch-users-need-solid-renovation-5b636835

I agree with you about dogecoin. This is an absolutely speculative coin with no value. What is happening now with dogecoin suggests that the world is going crazy.

It is madness. Irrational market that only pumps with Musk tweets.

I'm fine when Doge is for fun, but when it is reaching close to 100 billion market cap, this is serious. This, when a fair price for Doge is less than a penny.

The Saturday night live is majorly a comedy show, and this fits perfectly. A joke show to be hosted by a joker trying to promote a joke coin. I'm already drafting my "I told you... " message for all my friends diving deep into dogecoin
