Since the early age of piracy, the Caribbean Sea, a cluster of islands located outside the Gulf of Mexico, led the rebellion against the authoritarian establishment of colonialism, slavery, and similar gruesome practices.
Not everything was ethical, and while most pirates had a code of honor, many were serving personal interests, and some collaborated with governments on various occasions. Yet, all pirates strived for freedom from oppression and liberty one way or another.
Bitcoin Cash has realeashed the Armada in the Caribbean and delivers economic freedom.
The internet is a giant sea of freedom. Although, it used to be better, a decade ago. And even more promising, another decade ago.
The governments that enforced their will on those seeking liberty on the sea, are the same that also started two world wars with hundreds of millions of victims. The same governments now control the flow of information on the internet.
From the P2P revolution of torrents and the file-sharing days of Kim Dotcom's Megaupload, all the way to 2008 and the introduction of Bitcoin, the internet is fighting back and sending a message of hope and resistance.
