1. Google AdSense
The easiest way to monetize your blog is by putting ads on your blog. Google AdSense is an ad network by Google. Once you get approved by Google AdSense, then you’ll be able to place ads on your blog.
You need to add their short HTML code on your blog, and Adsense will do all hard work for you. Once you add the shortcode on your blog, AdSense starts showing ads on your blog that relevant to your blog content.
When your ads getting clicks, then you will get rewarded for every click.
Google AdSense is the best option for new bloggers to monetize their new blog, but don’t stick with AdSense for a long time. If your blog is getting a decent amount of traffic, then switch to a premium ad network like AdThrive or Mediavine.
So you’ll get higher CPC than Google AdSense, I will talk about premium ad networks later in this article.

Affiliate marketing is a great way to monetize a blog, most of the bloggers generating a delightful revenue from affiliate marketing. Although Google AdSense is one of the best ways to monetize a blog, but do you know there are some premium ad networks too that give you much higher CPC (Cost-Per-Click) than Google AdSense. As I said above, don’t use Google AdSense for a too long time, because of their Cost-Per-Click is much lower than a premium ad network.
So once your blog is getting a good amount of traffic, then switch to a premium ad network that increases your ad revenue 2 or 3 times than Google AdSense.
