Birthday of the father of heridity

Today is the birthday of Gregor Johann Mendel.Gregor Johann Mendel (1822-1884) was born in 1822 in Brunei, Austria (now Czechoslovakia). Education and his hobby was to be a teacher or a scientist. But could not be due to poverty. In 1843 he moved to Altbrun Church as a pastor. He was sent to the University of Vienna in 1851 for higher studies. He failed the test and returned to church in 1854 and became an additional teacher of science. Research life and in 1857 he collected 34 types of peas (Pisu satiuum) and started experiments to find out the genealogy of plants in the garden adjacent to the church. After seven long years of hard work, he discovered two sources of heredity and published them in his book Experiments in Plant Hybridization.His formulas are called Mendel's formulas or Mendelism. The theory given by Mendel is regarded as the basic of current genetics and he is called the father of heridity.He was died on 5 January 1884 at the age of 62.
