How I Became a Writer(kuno)

As I always say, writing is not my forte and I am not good at English either, so why am I here? To earn extra cash, of course. Since I am a full-time housewife/mom, I need to find ways to help with our expenses. I have tried different ways actually, like putting up a small sari-sari store and selling different kinds of snacks in our neighborhood. It was okay at first but got bankrupt at the end(sad life). So I tried searching legit sites on the internet where I could earn extra by doing some tasks. Found some of them but I spend so much on my load just to do the tasks and get so little in return(lugi na ko). Then, luckily I found read.cash. The person who invited me told me that I could earn dollars just by leaving comments in articles. He said that I could earn points that have an equivalent amount in dollars. So I thought that would be easy peasy. (Read.cash was in point system before) I started reading articles and leave comments that I could relate to. I did that for 2 days and earned $0.76 for it! I was so happy. Like, this is legit. I didn't spend much load and then get something in return. So I continued doing it for like 2 weeks. But then, I started wanting more. I was so envious of those who have earned more by writing articles, and think that if they can do it, I can too, lol! So I thought, why not try writing? And so the struggles begin! 😂 **Topic** Thinking of a topic to write about is one of my struggles. Unlike other users who are full of ideas, I was so out of it. It will take me days before I would come up with a certain topic to write. And guess what, the first article that I wrote cannot be considered an article, lol! It was about my cat Luna and consist of 30 paragraphs and oh yeah, the grammar (Jusko patawarin, hahaha!) But I forgive myself for writing that and promised not to do it again, lol! **How to Start** Now that I have a topic, my next problem is how and where to start. I should have a good start and a good ending. So I would start from scratch, like literally. I would write it on a piece of paper one by one. Every time I would think of a better sentence/word to connect, I would write it on paper. Then while doing my usual routine, my mind is working like thinking on what to write next. There was a time that I was doing my laundry, I was mumbling and then my husband asked me who am I talking to. I just told him that I was memorizing a line in drama, hahaha! Most users do free writing because it comes naturally to them. Once their brain and fingers connive, they became the keyboard warriors, lol!

**Editing Attachments, Links** Of course, I wanted to improve my work so I asked for some help from @carisdaneym2 (sorry for tagging bebe girl). And she patiently taught me how it's done. I also started using Grammarly to help me with my articles. After months of being a writer, I think I improved even a little, you think so too, right? Please say yes, hahaha! I have been writing here in read.cash for almost or maybe a year, not sure though. And this has been a big help to me. Not just in the financial aspect, it also helps me improve myself. I started using my stock knowledge and made my rusty brain working again. I feel like I am back in school with all the knowledge that I need to learn. And because of that, I became more confident in myself. **Closing thought** Writing helps me a lot. It helps me release all the stress. It helps me reach out to people, make friends with them, exchanging ideas, and points of view. I get to know more about myself, learn new things about me like who knew that I could write, right? I did not know that I am capable of doing it. So let me just say, Thank you read.cash... **Lead Image from Unsplash** `Date published: September 8, 2021`
