ischaemic heart disease :it is a disease which occur due to reduce blood supply to thr heart.if the coronary artery are narrowed, there will be reduced blood flow and reduce supply of oxygen to the cardiac muscle.as a consequence anaerobic metabolism of cardiac muscle resulting build up lactic acid and reduced ph in affected areas of the heart.pain receptor stimulated by lactic acid resulting increasing pain during exercise. this pain is called angina pectoris.the pain is radiated to left shoulder,ulner side of arm and forarm.the pain relieved by rest.
risk factors:
1.smoking
2.hypertension
3.hyperlipidaemia
4.obesity
5.diabetes mellitus
I hope if we avoid these risk factors we can minimize heart diseases.
