self-destructive behavior So many of us do it: You get into bed, turn off the lights, and look at your phone to check Twitter one more time. You see that coronavirus infections are up. Maybe your kids can't go back to school. The economy is cratering. Still, you incessantly scroll though bottomless doom-and-gloom news for hours as you sink into a pool of despair. This self-destructive behavior has become so common that a new word for it has entered our lexicon: "doomscrolling." The recent onslaught of dystopian stories related to the coronavirus pandemic, combined with stay-at-home orders, have enabled our penchant for binging on bad news. But the habit is eroding our mental health, experts say. Karen Ho, a finance reporter for Quartz, has been tweeting about doomscrolling every day over the past few months, often alongside a gentle nudge to stop and engage in healthier alternatives. Ho first saw the term in a Twitter post from October 2018, although the word may very well have much earlier origins. "The practice of doomscrolling is almost a normalized behavior for a lot of journalists, so once I saw the term I was like, 'Oh, this is a behavior I've been doing for several years,' " she says. If Ho's daily reminders aren't enough to break the habit, clinical psychologist Dr. Amelia Aldao warns that doomscrolling traps us in a "vicious cycle of negativity" that fuels our anxiety. LIFE KIT Screen Time Overload? Here's How To Find Balance "Our minds are wired to look out for threats," she says. "The more time we spend scrolling, the more we find those dangers, the more we get sucked into them, the more anxious we get." That grim content can then throw a dark filter how you see the world, says Aldao. "Now you look around yourself, and everything feels gloomy, everything makes you anxious. So you go back to look for more information." The cycle continues. Aldao, the director of Together CBT, a clinic that specializes in cognitive behavioral therapy, has worked with her patients to cut back on doomscrolling. Here's some of her advice on how to temper the doom: Set a timer I work mostly with clients who experience anxiety and part of what I've been doing with them now for weeks, for months, is actually setting limits to how much they're scrolling. And I literally tell them, "Set up a timer." You do want to know what's happening in the world, so the solution isn't to never go online again, but it's finding boundaries. Stay cognizant Going into it, opening up your phone, reminding yourself why you're there, what are you looking for, what information are you trying to find. And then periodically checking in with yourself — have I found what I needed? Swap 'vicious cycles' for 'virtuous cycles' Whether it's ice cream, connecting with friends, sending something funny to a friend — those are the things we should spend more time doing just to build positive emotions in our lives.

Why "the successful person is the disciplined person" is a lie Contrary to what you might think, success doesn’t require you to have constant discipline every single day of your life. Instead, success only requires you to be disciplined for just a short amount of time until the power of habit kicks in and begins to take over. When we think of someone who wakes up early every day, writes every day, or goes for a run every day, we often think that in order to do that ourselves, all we need is more discipline. Not true. What we actually need is just the habit of doing it. In his book "The One Thing," Gary Keller, founder of the largest real estate company in the world, says, "When you discipline yourself, you're essentially training yourself to act in a specific way. Stay with this long enough and it becomes routine - in other words, a habit. So when you see people who look like "disciplined" people, what you're really seeing is people who've trained a handful of habits into their lives. This makes them seem "disciplined" when actually they're not. No one is." The question then is, how long do you have to maintain being disciplined until the new behavior kicks in and becomes automatic? Researchers at the University College of London have found that it takes an average of 66 days to build a habit. In order to start reading, exercising, or writing consistently every day then, all you need is to be able to sustain enough discipline just long enough until reading, exercising or writing regularly becomes a habit. Regularly working on building a habit until the habit regularly works for you.

Messenger Apps Turning to Payments The story of China’s WeChat is being replicated across the world. There are many ways in which the world is divided up. Borders, differing cultures and even vast masses of water serve to partition the globe. Preference per region for Messenger apps is one of the less initially visible ways this is done. Although much of the world uses a combination of Facebook messenger and WhatsApp as their primary communication method, the Asian region is much more fragmented. Line dominates the regions of Japan, Taiwan and Thailand whilst Kakao is the king in the South Korean Peninsula. Despite only claiming the one country of China, WeChat’s sizeable user base is something that it has actively tapped into. All of the above-mentioned apps have made steps to monetise by making the shift from social messenger apps to payment apps. In other words, they are using their existing audience to dip their toes in the territory of fintech and digital banking in doing so altering our views on finance. However, no other messaging app has managed to do this more than WeChat. As depicted in this YouTube video, through the magic of QR codes China has made its Messenger app a be-all-end-all one-stop-shop for payment. The app can be used for services such as taxis and cleaning, bike rental and even for self-service convenience stores where all payment is done in-app. This technology is extremely innovative and represents a landmark in cashless payments. Such success would pave the way for its introduction in western countries and elsewhere. The big question is whether we will trade our privacy for the convenience of a QR code be-all-end-all payment solution. The story of cashless payment penetration in China suggests that the answer to this question is already clear.

Will the Pandemic Accelerate the Move to Branchless Banking? How the quarantine represents a moment of reckoning for app-based banking. As the world shuts down and we brace for our new normal, one reality still exists. We still need our money. And the way we need to access and use it now relies on digital banking more than ever. Much has been written on how the global pandemic will accelerate global trends. Arguably, one of the ones that can be seen most prominently is the rapid rate of digital banking adoption. With social distancing obliterating our reliance on branch visits, our phones and laptops are filling the void of branch visits for loans and account openings. Economies such as Singapore and Canada have already seen a rapid uptick in digital banking adoption. In Singapore’s case, they have even seen a rapid adoption amongst seniors. Canada is also seeing mortgage renewals being handled online. The pandemic might just end up tipping the scale, letting people become more comfortable with large transactions and loans being handled entirely in cyberspace. One thing is for sure is that for the foreseeable future we are in the age of the death of the physical bank branch. Quarantine is keeping us inside and away from the queues at the ATM. And that in itself represents a huge departure from our previous financial existence. Undoubtedly, however, what takes place in the months to come will be a crucial plotline in the story of fintech.

We don’t know what else is out there. Ways new diseases emerge — and what we can do about them. From forests and farms to our own back yards, there’s a lot we can do to reduce future risks of pandemic outbreaks As the world grapples with COVID-19, virologists know that other potential pandemics are waiting in the wings. “I think we will get a wave of new zoonotic diseases emerging, a mixture of old and new ones. Animals have thousands of viruses. Some of them are now familiar, like Ebola and Marburg and avian flu. These will continue to emerge in predictably unpredictable ways and places. But some will emerge which we did not know about. The worst may be yet to come,” As the world grapples with COVID-19, virologists know that other potential pandemics are waiting in the wings, able to do similar damage in the wrong circumstances. According to the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), animals can transmit 60% of infectious diseases that have been found in humans, and 75% of new or emerging such diseases that originate in animals. Nearly all are triggered or made worse by human interference with natural environments.

Brief observations about Bitcoin Bitcoin is bamboo. It grew underground and mostly unnoticed for its first 10 years and then shot up at a startling rate into the public eye after the 2017 bull run. This article discusses a variety of reasons why people should (a) learn more about bitcoin and (b) “get off zero” by purchasing a little of it…if your financial situation allows. I organized my thoughts into aphorisms — brief observations — as well as three themes that helped me make sense of bitcoin’s uniqueness: People, Process, Principle. The People theme deals with bitcoin’s lack of centralized leadership and its organic growth from regular people joining and using the network, the Process theme deals with bitcoin’s technical systems and functions, and the Principle theme highlights aspects of the philosophy underpinning bitcoin. On Organic Growth: Bitcoin has attracted grassroots momentum over a 12-year period that emerged from a very principled and intentional design process. Bitcoin organically grew from an anonymous creator going by the name Satoshi Nakamoto and the fact that no one has emerged to claim and prove creator’s status is a unique and meaningful story, especially in a world obsessed with gaining attention, fame, and intellectual property rights. Bitcoin is an anonymous gift. (People, Principle)

As a Leader, Time Is Your Most Valuable Resource Make sure everything you do is helping  you achieve your most important goals Selectively pick a few things, and cut everything else. Work on only your most important things. It’s all about knowing your market, having a great team, and finding the right fit First, make sure you really need money.  There are several good reasons a startup should not seek any kind of outside funding. Here are the big three: *Determine Whether You Should Raise Money* Raising money takes a ton of time, energy, and focus—and you’re better off using it to build out the idea, the product, and the company.

@Ekpocha

Things you should know about money Money, and “financial freedom,” is a skill. No one ever tells you what you should know about money when you’re young. There isn’t a class in high school, or even college, where a professor sits you down and says, “Now listen up: mastering money is no different than learning how to shoot a basketball or paint a picture. It just takes practice.” 1. There are five buckets you should focus on when it comes to building a portfolio for your finances. Cash IRA/401k Stock Cryptocurrencies / high-risk investments One of the first “rules of thumb” I was given was that you should, first and foremost, have three months of expenses saved up and tucked away in your savings account. So if you know you spend, say, $3,000 per month — in rent, food, transportation, etc. — then you should have at least $9,000 saved up in your bank account before you even think about playing the game of wealth accumulation and investing. If you’re disciplined, you can achieve this goal 1–3 years out of college. It just means you might not be able to buy shots of tequila every weekend.

Coronavirus Coronavirus May Be a Blood Vessel Disease, Which Explains Everything Many of the infection’s bizarre symptoms have one thing in commonIn April, blood clots emerged as one of the many mysterious symptoms attributed to Covid-19, a disease that had initially been thought to largely affect the lungs in the form of pneumonia. Quickly after came reports of young people dying due to coronavirus-related strokes. Next it was Covid toes — painful red or purple digits. What do all of these symptoms have in common? An impairment in blood circulation. Add in the fact that 40% of deaths from Covid-19 are related to cardiovascular complications, and the disease starts to look like a vascular infection instead of a purely respiratory one.Months into the pandemic, there is now a growing body of evidence to support the theory that the novel coronavirus can infect blood vessels, which could explain not only the high prevalence of blood clots, strokes, and heart attacks, but also provide an answer for the diverse set of head-to-toe symptoms that have emerged. “All these Covid-associated complications were a mystery. We see blood clotting, we see kidney damage, we see inflammation of the heart, we see stroke, we see encephalitis [swelling of the brain],” says William Li, MD, president of the Angiogenesis Foundation. “A whole myriad of seemingly unconnected phenomena that you do not normally see with SARS or H1N1 or, frankly, most infectious diseases.”

Approach Goal-setting Differently Everything starts with the desire to win more clients. Goals must be set to achieve these desires. Although tons have been written about proper goal setting approaches, anyone is liable to set their goals wrongly. Usually, we would be asked to set our marketing goals realistically. We could be setting realistic goals in the wrong direction. For some time, I was setting marketing goals with a focus on how many people I can reach out to each week. I was sending hand-crafted notes to potential customers. I could guess those evidence of creative, hard work is resting in trash cans. Two months after, I attempted a new approach. Instead of setting goals to reach a certain number of audience, I started setting goals to convert a certain number of clients. Although the number was far smaller than I had on the audience-reaching goal, it brought cash-flow than the former. Cash-flow is economic oxygen. How to approach goal-setting in this manner is not rocket science. It entails only a few key considerations. 1. Define Your Ideal Clients. 2. Override Action-oriented Goals With Result-oriented Ones 3. Locate Your Probable Clients.

@Ekpocha

Judge not If you’re afraid of being judged, it’s probably because you’re judging other people. If you’re afraid of becoming a failure, it’s probably because you’re devaluing other people’s accomplishments. If you’re afraid of being disliked, it’s probably because you’re seeking out the worst in others so you can feel a bit better about where you stand. When we experience low self-esteem, our worldview becomes one-dimensional, and our own sagas and melodramas take center stage. We perceive only how we are treated as opposed to recognizing the relationship between how we approach the world and how the world responds to us.

@Ekpocha

Three Powerful Ways to Say I Appreciate You • Simply, look them in the eye and say, “I appreciate you”. • Thank your lover for their unique qualities: “I appreciate that you’re so funny/kind/ambitious/loving.” • Appreciate the little things: “I appreciate that you always make the coffee. “I appreciate that you pick up the kids. “I appreciate that you got the dry-cleaning today. BTW: we aren’t suggesting you don’t say I love you, but rather that you truly say it with heart AND you add in ‘I appreciate you’. The key, of course, is to really mean it! What can you appreciate about your partner today?

@Ekpocha

Three words that makes a change How many times have you said ‘I love you’ to your partner or spouse? Depending on the length of your relationship (and your level of expressiveness), it might be a hundred, a thousand, or a million times. Expressing words of love are essential in every relationship, but what if you could learn 3 words that would light up your lover AND take your relationship to an even deeper level? There are three almost magical words that when said with real sincerity will deepen your connection and allow your lover to feel really seen. “I APPRECIATE YOU.” Ready?! ‘I appreciate you’ are the three magic words that all of us need to say more often in a relationship, all relationships, but certainly in our intimate relationship.

Think again Are you going to have a piece of the trillions of dollars being pumped out right now? The health crisis in the world right now won’t last much longer. But the economic impact would just be starting. There are people still hoping that the economy will bounce back to what it was before naturally. And it very won’t. Don’t expect to see a U-shaped recovery. If you think the markets are down primarily because of the pandemic, you need to think again. Currently, oil is less than $26 per barrel. This is another full-blown crisis. But it is being overshadowed by the pandemic. And with about 2 thirds of the market of oil being grounded because of the viral outbreak, the price of oil might even go lower. The oil bankruptcies are starting to pile up, even as most of the oil bonds are due to mature between 2020 and 2024. And there will be more from around the world over the coming weeks and months. But in the midst of this, we have the central banks who have ultimate power over the economy and financial markets. The central banks have minds of their own and respond however they choose to. In the US, the Fed is embarking on a quantitative easing program injecting over $700 billion into the economy. A stimulus package of $2.2 trillion has also been signed. But will it help revive the economy? Not really. You can take the lesson from 2008. The same thing that happened then will happen again. The money will concentrate very quickly in the hands of the few. And they will be very rich.

Survival Some startups are inventing new ideas to keep us safe and sane. With the rise in telehealth, mental health services are offering sessions by video; robots are patrolling Covid-19 hotspots, like warehouses, that otherwise place essential workers at risk; and there are virtual games keeping us socially close while we’re physically distant. We’re seeing how there is no longer a separation between work and home (and, for many, there never was), so new services are supporting our family lives or making our work life more empathetic. If you’re thriving in an unnatural way merely due to this crisis or you’re oblivious to the suffering your business may be causing, that’s when it starts to be a problem. For example, we’ve seen some bad behavior from businesses, including price gouging of essential goods and large or cash-heavy companies with access to private capital taking advantage of Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) funds aimed at small businesses.   So many businesses right now are in survival mode, trying to keep as many of their people on payroll as possible. They’re recalibrating their numbers every week, sometimes several times a week, in order to stay alive for as long as possible. Faced with social distancing restrictions, some are adapting: Restaurants are now moving to delivery and curbside pickup, and apparel companies are manufacturing and selling masks. Some are putting on armor: letting go of people so the rest of the company can make it to the other side. And others are gathering arms: borrowing new money, fundraising, and applying for emergency relief loans and grants administered by the government.

Making Money Online “*It’s impossible to create work that both matters and pleases everyone.” -Seth Godin* Focus on Creating a Product For Just One person Facebook started out as just a platform designed to connect Harvard students with one another.Focus on Creating a Product For Just One Person “*It’s impossible to create work that both matters and pleases everyone.”* -Seth Godin Indeed, it was not Zuckerberg’s original plan to create a product that would attract more than 2 billion active users, but rather, to simply get all his classmates to sign up. Mailchimp was born as CEO and Co-Founder, Ben Chestnut couldn’t be bothered to individually design email newsletters for a stream of clients who wanted them. Thus, he created a tool that would take care of the process for him. Fast-forward to today, and Mailchimp is now an email newsletter service worth over 4 billion dollars. The lesson? Focus on creating a product that scratches the itch for a small group of people, and if it’s truly worth caring about, then more people will come. For example, I write my articles to the person I was 2 years ago. The one who was addicted to video games, had no real direction in life, and simply needed some encouragement. I’m not trying to force out any topics that I don’t agree with myself, and thus, it often resonates. Hence, if you’re not seeing the results you want, perhaps it’s time to look for a different and smaller audience. However, don’t also forget to have a long term vision. Which takes us to the next point:

Stuck Inside? You Can Still Spend Your Crypto We all have different strategies for handling the coronavirus quarantine. Some of us have started 15 new hobbies. Some curl up in bed all day. Some obsessively watch the news. It’s natural to miss our routines, our friends, and our regular lives. But there’s one thing you don’t have to give up while you are #stayinghome — retail therapy. We all have different strategies for handling the coronavirus quarantine. Some of us have started 15 new hobbies. Some curl up in bed all day. Some obsessively watch the news. It’s natural to miss our routines, our friends, and our regular lives. But there’s one thing you don’t have to give up while you are #stayinghome — retail therapy. Sure, you could use your credit card, but have you thought about using your bitcoins? Bitcoins aren’t just for investment or hodling. Bitcoin is a currency that you can use for anything and everything: services, activities, and day-to-day spending. You might be surprised to learn just how many places there are where you can spend your crypto, both in brick and mortar shops and online. So while you’re stuck inside, why not spare your credit card, save your cash, and use your bitcoins instead. Entertainment Are you playing video games more often these days? Microsoft accepts bitcoin payment in the Windows and Xbox stores. You can buy games, movies and apps. First you add your bitcoin to your Microsoft account, but there’s no refund option so only transfer what you know you will spend. We all rely on the arts to get us through our days. Can you imagine being stuck at home without those video games, or movies, music, games, and books? Many artists have seen their incomes reduced due to curfews, so if you are one of the lucky people who have the ability to work from home, you might consider supporting some artists during this crisis. Etsy allows sellers to accept bitcoins, so it could be a great time to buy presents or treat yourself.

You will still be destroyed financial if you don't take Extra steps Even if you invest your money it still won’t help you. Investing your money is not enough because you need to understand one more idea: diversification. (Money experts that charge you $1000 an hour for their time call it asset allocation but we’re not fancy and just want to get to the point.) The hardest part to understand is how much money to place into each asset class. Hedge funds that invest billions of dollars spend decades mastering this one skill and it’s their secret sauce. The solution to this problem is different for everybody. How much money you invest in each asset class depends on your financial situation and your age. If you’re broke or have lots of credit card debt then you’re normally going to focus on wiping that out first before worrying about investing. If you have no debt but only have less than $10,000 then you’re probably going to want to be more cautious in case you need access to that money. If you have $100K or more to invest then you might want to be a little more aggressive. If you’re a millennial like me then you may want to go a little more aggressive into stocks because you’ll have time to ride out any recessions. The way to save yourself financially is to learn about where you should invest your money and how much cash to allocate to each asset class. In really simple terms, you want to learn enough about money that you can successfully put a percentage value next to each asset class. Here is a mock example: Gold: 5% Real Estate: 30% Digital Currency: 5% Bonds: 20% Stocks: 40% Learn about each of these asset classes and then allocate your money accordingly.

@Ekpocha

How to Have Money Work for You, Not Against You There is a solution to this problem of saving money and you don’t have to be an investment guru like Warren Buffett to understand it. You can prevent yourself from being financially destroyed by money when you change your approach to this: It’s *not* about how much money you make. It’s *not* about how much money you save. It’s about you how much you **invest.** https://medium.com/swlh/lessons-ive-learned-from-studying-money-for-10-years-50ca03854887 Investing your money simply means putting your money to work (for you). The money you make needs to be invested. You have a few options, which you already know, but here they are; gold, real estate, bonds, stocks, digital currencies. That is where you can place your money so that inflation doesn’t kill everything you’ve worked for. Part 3

@Ekpocha

It's not About How Much You Save If you take the simple approach of making money and then saving it, it’s not going to end well for you. This image perfectly describes why saving money will destroy you financially. Every minute you save money is another minute inflation is eating away at you, and the time and effort you spent to earn it. Why work really hard and then have your money be devalued? It doesn’t make any sense. It’s madness. https://www.investopedia.com/terms/i/inflation.asp Part 2

@Ekpocha

It's Not About How Much You Make You can make lots of money and still lose the lot if you don’t understand how it works. Many famous people like Mike Tyson made plenty of money and still ended up broke. https://money.cnn.com/2017/05/24/investing/mike-tyson-bankruptcy/index.html Lottery winners are more likely to end up bankrupt within three to five years of them making millions of dollars, than the average person. I know guys making $500K a year who, when this recent recession hit, started running out of money real fast. You can make plenty of money if you’re connected to the internet by creating content, setting up a website, starting a podcast, promoting other people’s products, writing eBooks, running virtual summits — the list is endless. Making money is the easy part to understand. Part 1

@Ekpocha

Rather than focus on money, live generously This is exactly what Keanu teaches us through his actions, not what he says. You live generously not just by using any money you make for good, but by being generous with your time. If you watch every interaction with Keanu and his fans on Youtube or Instagram, you’ll see that he’s generous with his time. The greatest gift he can give them is his time and attention. You have the same opportunity to live generously. My research on money comes from being both financially rich and poor multiple times in my life. In the end, money isn’t really that important to me anymore and doing more research on Keanu’s financial behaviors and views on money reinforced that idea. You can make $20M from Bitcoin, as a friend of mine did, and lose the entire lot through one unfortunate decision. What you can’t lose or have taken away from you — as Nelson Mandela learned when he was locked in jail — is who you are and the person you’ve become. Live generously whether you have money or not and aim to teach, entertain, inspire, inform, or make people laugh. That’s how you live the good life that money can’t buy and help people in the process who add joy, fulfillment, and a level of meaning to your life that will make you feel ten times better than money ever will.

The two companies said the deal is expected to be finalized later this year. “We are going to be integrating the Tagomi platform into our product suite and it will form the foundation for the future of our institutional trading business,” said Shan Aggarwal, head of corporate development at Coinbase. In terms of how the integration will pan out, Aggarwal added: “Tagomi will continue to operate for the near future. We’re still thinking through long-term options.” The purchase of Tagomi by Coinbase has been in the pipeline since last year when the deal was prematurely reported to have closed. A source familiar with recent developments said it was an “all-stock deal” and “significantly less” than the $150 million reported last year. https://www.coindesk.com/correction-coinbase-tagomi-deny-acquisition  ***Cr***ypto prime brokerage, which offers institutional clients easier access to liquidity, custody, lending and other products, appears to be on a roll right now. Genesis Trading (owned by CoinDesk parent DCG) recently purchased crypto custodian Vo1t in a bid to become a prime broker, London-based Bequant launched a prime brokerage service earlier this month and BitGo also announced its prime brokerage play earlier on Wednesday. https://www.coindesk.com/genesis-trading-buys-crypto-custodian-vo1t-in-bid-to-become-prime-broker https://www.coindesk.com/bequant-launches-crypto-prime-brokerage-to-compete-for-institutional-money https://www.coindesk.com/crypto-custodian-bitgo-joins-race-to-provide-prime-brokerage-services Coinbase said the acquisition comes at something of an inflection point in the industry, with recent pronouncements by Paul Tudor Jones serving as a bellwether for bitcoin acceptance from leading hedge fund and macro investors. Coinbase also said it has seen a 100% increase in volume from professional and institutional traders over the past three months. https://www.coindesk.com/hedge-fund-pioneer-paul-tudor-jones-says-he-holds-1-2-of-assets-in-bitcoin https://www.coindesk.com/price/bitcoin But some commentators will see the Tagomi deal as consolidation in a market that has turned out to be sluggish, at least as far as the eagerly awaited arrival of traditional institutional investment is concerned. “We definitely all thought there would be more banking and asset manager interest, and Tagomi really built a product that would muster up to those people,” Tagomi co-founder Marc Bhargava told Coindesk. According to certain reports, Tagomi has been on the hunt for new opportunities because its fees on trading volumes of around $1 billion a year were only adding up to about $1 million in revenue.  https://www.forbes.com/sites/jeffkauflin/2019/12/13/cryptocurrency-startup-tagomi-slashes-trading-fees-in-half-to-woo-large-crypto-traders/#57d275ee2167 Tagomi has had a focus on best execution, which involves pooling buy and sell orders across 10 or so large crypto exchanges, including Coinbase, Binance and Gemini, and then routing clients’ transactions to the venues offering the best prices.  Asked if being owned by Coinbase created any kind of conflict of interest, Bhargava said he didn’t necessarily think so.  “We think we will still be able to deliver really great pricing to our clients,” said Bhargava. “Obviously, we will still have market maker relationships. Over time, we’ll disclose which exchanges we continue to work with.”

Market Analysis Last Friday marked the 10 year anniversary of the infamous Bitcoin pizza purchase – the first time anyone in the world bought a tangible good or service using Bitcoin. On 22 May 2010, computer programmer Laszlo Hanyecz bought two large pizzas for 10,000 BTC, which was at the time equivalent to roughly $41. Today, those 10,000 BTC would come in at somewhere nearer $90,000,000 – impressive returns. Though we’re sure demonstrating to the world that Bitcoin is a viable means of exchange has been rewarding enough. Fittingly, there was another blast from the past last week when a transaction stemming from a block reward dating back to 9 February 2009 moved 50 BTC. This sparked rumours that Satoshi was selling their Bitcoin – a theory that has since been widely disproved. However, after a bullish start to the week, the news did still arguably contribute to a tumble in the Bitcoin price towards the end.   It was better news for altcoins, though. Ether and XRP both had stronger weeks than Bitcoin, albeit still having fallen slightly.

Thankful in the midst of suffering *Thank ( God ) in everything ( no matter what the circumstances may be, be thankful and give thanks), for this is the will of God for you( who are) in Christ Jesus ( the revealer and mediator of that will). 1Thessalonians 5:18* The bible encourages us to always be thankful. That's easy when God answers prayers and deliver us from problems, but it isn't always easy when things go wrong. So how can we remain thankful in the midst of suffering? We can remember other times when God has delivered us from problems and trust him to do the same thing again. We can also rejoice over things that are not wrong in our lives. We are all very blessed and it is easy to be thankful when we remember our blessings. We can be thankful to God in obedience to him. We don't have to wait to feel thankful in order to give thanks. Do it by faith and you will not only see God's deliverance, but you will be happier while you wait. I give thanks to God at all times.

Improvement Roadmaps Our long-term project management and process improvement can be very complicated. We can drive with no fixed destination or time constraints. We need to know and understand where we are now, and then find the fastest and simplest way to achieve our targets. A map can always help to find our way! An Improvement Roadmap is an approach for achieving improvement. It is a document that will guide through the implementation of a long-term goal or project. It illustrates the best possible routes to get to where you want to go. It will give the team an overview of the actual situation of the implementation, making sure that all are moving forward toward achieving continuous improvement. **A good improvement roadmap should answer the following questions:** Where we are now? Where we want to be? What is the time needed to reach our goals? What performance indicators are needed to assess the progress against the established goals and milestones? After setting our goals and creating our roadmap, an action plan per goal is needed to break down big goals into smaller and workable activities, detailing what is needed to be done. A good action plan: Outlines all activities and their order. Outlines time periods. Outlines responsibilities. Highlights any particular needs, issues or obstacles to overcome. Identifies where to focus efforts for greater impact.

Thoughts,Wordsand Habits Then he touched their eyes, saying according to your faith and trust and reliance (on the power invested in me)be it done to you.    Matthew 9:29   How do our thoughts and the words we speak affect our habits? In my opinion,they are the starting point for breaking all bad habits and forming all good habits. in fact, thinking and speaking negatively is a bad habit in itself and one we need to break by beginning to think and speak positively.   You can literally think and talk yourself into victory or defeat. you not only get all the things you think and say but you can have anything God says you can have in his word. Jesus told people they would have what they believed, even sight for the blind men ( see Matthew 9:27-30). They simply had to believe to renew their minds to think as God thinks ( see Roman 12:2 and Colossians 3:10) and they could have the blessings God wanted them to have and so can you! I believe in God's power that gives me victory over my bad habits.
