Trilium and Alien Worlds #7 - Two Months of Planet Binance Missions

Control Tower... Control Tower... Commander PVM from the Terran Battlecruiser Morningstar requesting a landing bay! I am returning after several successful missions on Planet Binance and I have to unload the cargo!

I started to explore the Galaxy when Planet Binance was added on the charted map, and the Mission Centre was open for spacecrafts. The only issue was that the Trilium must be on Binance Smart Chain, meaning that the Trilium mined on Alien Worlds on WAX blockchain have to be transferred on Binance Smart Chain. The process was made easy with the two-ways bridge that allows free flow of TLM to and from BSC.

The Mission Centre is the place where the available missions are listed, ordered by duration, reward, and rarity. The reward will be shared by all leased spacecrafts and players can sign up for missions even minutes before the start.

As my Trilium ($TLM) bag is limited, my first participation was Recovery Mission, a liberation type that will last 2 weeks. The description explains that a special research vessel was lost while heading towards Planet Binance and is our job to track it and recover it. The reward pot was 40,000 TLM, and the reward per spacecraft was 75 Trilium when I signed in. The NFT reward was a rare card what I don't know yet how will be integrated in the game.

The required amount for Trilium was 200 units per spacecraft and this was the moment when I discovered that the TLM must be on Binance Smart Chain. It took me a while to do the preparation and send the tokens via the two-ways bridge and I missed the deadline.

Once the Trilium was on BSC, I went back to the Mission Centre, where only Planetary Scouting was available. As the name suggests, it was a Scouting mission which involved gathering data and samples near Planet Binance. Upon signing up, the Trilium reward was 157 TLM per spacecraft, but will drop to lower values in the next 3 hours. 

The spacecrafts left for exploring and came back after 14 days, with 35 TLM and one rare NFT for each entry. Was a good bounty as mining 70 TLM will take me about 1 months, and two rare NFTs may be worth something once they integrate them in the game.

The information given hints that some NFTs will affect the power of the spaceships sent while others will have a wide range of uses, including blending, crafting and granting access to new functions. 

Supply Request was next, an exploration mission that involves the delivery of radioactive Manatite required for mining Trilium. Short mission, 7 days only, with a high number of participants.

I sent 10 spacecrafts, with 40 TLM locked for each, and they returned with 25 TLM. I sent 5 more later on and they brought back the same amount of Trilium. As more missions become available, the top players are heading towards more valuable rewards.

One of the top missions is Liberation Aid, which takes 12 weeks to complete. It requires 5000 TLM per spacecraft but the reward looks appealing, as the level of the NFT is marked as "Artifact". Based on the staking criteria, I may complete this mission in 2025.

The next quest on the list was Courier Run, a battle type quest that lasts 7 days. Cheap and fast mission, at 40 TLM locked per spacecraft, matched by a low reward and grey NFTs.

I had to wait for all the spacecraft to return from various missions to try Recovery Mission. I failed to do this quest few weeks ago because I didn't had the Trilium on BSC, but this time everything is set to track the missing research vessel.

One month after the Mission Centre has become available, I completed 5 missions and the 6th was ongoing. My Trilium stash grew from 400 to 580 tokens, and the NFTs kept staking in my hangar.
