From working in an office, from 9 to 5, the workflow moved to working from home during the pandemic. What if we can totally break away from the concept of classical work patterns and even employment? Anyone can be the Man of Tomorrow (or woman!)
Even if it looks that I am online into the Cryptoverse 24/7 ... it's an illusion! It's all about managing publishing times and spreading the activity efficiently throughout the day. I can still post something on noise.cash or Twitter when doing something else, and I can play a game of Splinterlands while resting on a bench during my walks.
I started my Publish0x journey with a clear vison and three blogs, Mind Puzzles for finances and blockchain stuff, The Art of Happiness for wellbeing, mental health and lifestyle, and World Wide ... World Wild! as a way to record adventures and experiences from my holidays! The travel blog had a fork because of the Covid-19 pandemic and Staycations - Exploring the United Kingdom was created.
Everything sounds very organized but crypto did a hostile takeover and the last time I wrote about abroad travels was on 11th of June 2020, my last post about travels in the UK was on the 23rd of January 2021, with a recent post in the The Art of Happiness on the 15th of July. However, the fitness post was a hybrid one as "The Crypto Ecosystem evolved in the last 2 years ... my fitness didn't!" was a 50% - 50% post about lifestyle, weight problems and if this is caused by focusing on blockchain events and earning cryptocurrencies.
I enjoy walking, I enjoy running and I keep quite active over the weekends with my football hobby. When I walk, I prefer the woods instead of the concrete jungle. I enjoy walking by the river, to watch how wonderful the nature unwraps if is not disturbed by human presence, to listen to tweets and to relax my brain from the daily hustle of making money.
As I can't really disconnect 100% from the Cryptoverse, I keep posting now and then on noise.cash. This is how this idea sparked ... why we, as modern humans, prefer confined spaces and concrete instead of meadow, walks and nature? It was a mix of answers, tapping on comfort, weather conditions, how technology takes over our life, and by far the best answer was given by CryptoSorted whom I quote "Probably, privacy mixed with our adversarial nature, plus the supposed need for a "structured" society."
This made me think about the way we accept a contracted job and the limitations that come with it. Don't get me wrong, I am not telling anyone to quit their jobs and go live in the woods or in caves. The point I am making is that technology constantly evolves and the way we earn money must match the progress.
I started drafting this article on Publish0x because uploading photos is quicker than on ReadCash, and it's saves the draft automatically. I've started writing while being out on a walk and the pictures posted on noise.cash are all taken with my mobile phone. I am already earning money while walking in the nature, not while being stuck on a chair, between 4 walls. I can breath fresh air, I am touched by the sun, I see nice things and more important ... it's family time as I can watch by little boy sleeping peaceful in the pushchair. Axie Infinity is my latest addition to the Play2Earn system. I don't aim to complete the daily tasks as PvP can be a nightmare, focusing on reaching the 50 SLP per day from PVE battles. I don't like to waste my time in the arena and I do the highest level of adventure to reach the daily cap quicker. This takes about 30 minutes. In my first month of playing I earned 213.18 USD from Axie Infinity, by allocating only a short period of time.
This is my Monday-Thursday chart, with over 27 kilometers walked in nature. I spent about 7 hours in 4 days walking around, but I also earned small amounts of crypto doing that. I wasn't stressed by a manager to complete a task, I didn't spent time indoor ... and I earned money.
I am not adding the earnings from blogging into the calculation because 90% of the articles are written at home. From the stuff presented above, noise.cash is the top earner. I earn $10 worth of Bitcoin Cash every 2-3 days, from being social and friendly. The August earnings were $124.44, and maybe some cents extra from Celsius dividends.
Nature, walking, fitness and earning crypto can be easly integrated in the daily routine. My monthly earnings from doing various activities when I am out and about reached 575 USD. The sum was made from mining on AlienWorlds ($145), noise.cash earnings ($124,44), Axie Infinity SLP ($213.18), Splinterlands total benefits ($65) and the $ZEC and $ZEN fountains ($27.81).
Warren Buffet said we need to find a way to make money while we sleep, I say we need to find ways to earn money when we walk, when we eat and even when we go to the toilet. We must evolve and make money from everywhere ... we must become "the man of tomorrow"!
