NFTs vs. Reality Those of you who have "invested" in NFTs, how are your "investments" doing? Are you profitable yet? Have you considered possibly taking some profits, before the rug is pulled from this crazy NFT market? Coffeezilla just posted a new video up on YouTube where Keanu "The Man" Reeves laughed at the idea that NFTs are actually worth anything: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=D92y0t04mNs . Now maybe he's acting, and is secretly hoping to depress the NFT market so he can scoop up a bunch of them at a heavy discount, but I doubt it. I think Mr. Reeves clearly understands the value, or lack thereof, of an NFT. If you want to gamble on that little image you bought begin worth millions someday, go for it. I wish you lots of luck. But I wouldn't count on your "investment" panning out, anymore than I would count on that lottery ticket you bought yesterday hitting the big jackpot.

I got a couple but I invest (AKA gamble) with what I can afford to lose.
That's an excellent attitude to have for any crypto investment. We have no idea what future technology could prove disruptive to the entire crypto market.

Yeah, he's definitely a cool dude. Apparently he is extremely down to earth, not at all like many of these ego-inflated Hollywood stars.
Oh yes! I've read many things from his life, the way he grew up, how he is treating the people he works with, he uses metro, he eats in the park, he doesn't own a huge villa etc. He also is a handsome man, but I think he has the whole "package" - being handsome and a good guy!
Actually, I'm on a 50/50 with it despite being an nft artist (self-proclaimed 😅) because it can have value with application or if you're relying on the collector's mindset. I'm pretty sure an NFT will depend on its relevance to your life
If you're selling an image as an NFT, what keeps people from simply copying your image?
That's been an age old issue 😂😂😂 and I still have no answer to that besides the market system improvement UmU like here on noise, we can't copy images and vial long hold of the item. But only through screenshot. In that case, the image quality is usually greatly reduced so half the time, it's noticeable and some NFT buyers love high quality images :""

That would be too much work 😂 I was thinking a trial subscription like patreon would be a good idea but then... It will lose the uniqueness and rarity aspect since you'll need to mint a few more copies instead of one
I liked his take on this, and he makes a lot of sense to me. Colbert, of all people, also had an interesting take on these things. In fact he said he was more interested in investing in RFTs. Real f***ing things! lol. This is just one area where I think so many people are going to eventually lose a ton of money. There is no use for them, and I just don't see any future value in them. But who am I? It has been difficult enough for me to grasp how something that produces nothing (crypto) grows in value, let alone how an NFT will. Just my two cents.
I totally agree with you, and like you, it's taken me a long time to warm up to crypto as being something other than hype. (Years ago, when given the choice to invest in crypto or precious metals, I chose precious metals. Bummer!) However, I am a bit concerned to be agreeing with Stephen Colbert, who is one of the more flagrant propagandists of the expanding powers of the state. It's a toss up between him and Jimmy Kimmel as to whom I like least.
