Happy Birthday, Abby.

I've been blessed to meet amazing people in my life and I am always blessed to have those who are loyal and would reciprocate the gesture a thousand fold. I might make friends easily but I am picky sometimes. I follow my mind and it hardly leads me wrong. People that I get close to always turn out to be incredible humans. Yes, you can say that I have good eyes to spot amazing people and you wouldn't go wrong. It's been around 4 years now since I met this amazing soul and we have been in touch ever since. It was a Twitter connection thing and today is her birthday which I am more than happy to celebrate with her because she is an awesome human being. I shared this poem and wrote this short story about her on Hive and as usual, I can't keep my Read Cash friends without being updated too, so here I am, sharing the poem with you and a little background story which I didn't share on Hive. You see? Read Cash people you are getting the edge hahaha.

Happy birthday to my wonderful friend over the years. It's funny how I have never seen her but I saw her works on Twitter and decided to patronize her. We formed our bond and friendship since then and she is all about quality. She smiles and each worry dries off. She laughs and the birds chirp louder in jealousy. She dances and the ground is delighted to move to the rhythm just as the wind blows and the tree picks the appropriate dance steps too. I feel blessed and privileged to call her my friend. Happy birthday to you, gorgeous. The world is your center stage, just dazzle us with your beauty, creativity and goodness. She made wonderful throw pillows which I am still using 4 years after. She infused them with local material which we call "Ankara" and that was the first time I would see something like that. The moment I saw them, I messaged her asking for the price and the price she gave me for all 6 I got was so reasonable. I got even Ankara laptop bag and two backpacks after that. That's for you to know the higher standards she holds herself when it comes to her work. I've met amazing people on Twitter due to their quality works and I am all about quality. I am a firm believer in patronizing my friends especially when they are making what I wanted and it's of good quality. We meet people across every facet of life and the thing is we have to have an open mind. Without an open mind, we would judge a lot of people even before we get to know them. To every single one of you that I call friends, I want you to know it's not just any word I throw around for the sake of courtesy because I must have seen something special in you even if it hasn't manifested yet. I am big on friendship and I like to keep up from time to time too. This is in celebration of friendship that transcends time, space and locations. Happy birthday once again darling Abisola. I can't celebrate you enough. Keep doing your wonders and it's only a matter of time before the world sees your talent and creativity. I have massive respect for those who put their minds to creative use and those who are so skilled and gifted in one thing or the other.
