Sometimes life can be really rough and challenging; in these times, we feel defeated and depressed but never forget to smile even in the face of adversity because when we are happy, I believe nothing can stop us again.

Happiness is essential in our lives because it helps us forget all our problems naturally, unlike with alcohol or drugs, which affect us in the long run.

Nowadays, where everything seems to be going wrong worldwide with the pandemic, wars, and economic disability, we need to try our best to find what makes us happy even if everything is going wrong.

Is it impossible to achieve happiness? Well, of course not!

Happiness is already within your grasp, but you fail to take hold of it due to all the negative emotions holding you back! Feelings of anger, hatred, jealousy all can affect your positive emotions significantly.

Most individuals spend their days planning to ruin another person's life; they devise so many schemes and plans just to make sure other people aren't happy. 

Happiness varies from person to person; what makes you happy may not be the same as what makes me happy; some of us try to live in society's happiness because we believe that is what TRUE HAPPINESS is, but that is a lie. 

Instead of living miserably in society's happiness, find what makes you happy because there is no point in living when you are miserable!

Firstly let me explain happiness because some of us tend to deceive ourselves into thinking we are happy.

Happiness can not be genuinely defined because it is not something that you see. Instead, it is something you feel; it may be an illusion from our brain. 

But based on the Oxford dictionary, "Happiness is the feeling of contentment or pleasure, or a state of being happy."

Over the years, I have found out that happiness truly makes life worth living; it makes us feel more fulfilled, motivated, and energetic.

You rarely see a depressed person doing great at their activities because they don't have the motivation to work, but when they are happy, you see them doing all sorts of things😃.  

Happiness indeed draws the line between failure and success.

BENEFITS OF HAPPINESS

Work and Career

Sometimes I see people saying, "When I am successful then I would be happy" however, this should be backward because a happy person stands a much better chance to be successful than someone who is stressed out and sad. 

Happy people are more optimistic, making it easier for them to take more opportunities in life and actually succeed; they are better at management and leadership. 

Relationships

Happy people are more likely to be more successful in finding and maintaining relationships because they have better social support and are generally satisfied with a large group of people. If you have noticed, the happiest people tend to have high-quality relationships, better moods, less jealousy, and strong family bonds.

When it comes to dating and marriage, there is always a strong link between happiness and satisfaction. Happy people are more content with their partners. 

They know how to maintain their relationships with their families and partners. Happy people are more generous and willing to compromise for their loved ones, even at the cost of their own well-being. Happy people strive to love others and not create war. When there is a disagreement, happy people are less likely to be violent in their relationships because they know violence doesn't solve their problems.

Longer Life-expectancy 

Some research shows that happy people are more likely to have better health, extending life expectancy. 

Happy people are more likely to live 7-10 years longer than unhappy people because they partake more in exercise, eat healthily, lower stress levels, find creative outlets, and foster healthy relationships that create positive emotions for them. 

I always wondered why Queen Elizabeth lives more protracted than most people, and maybe this is the answer and all the pile of money she has at her disposal😊

Creativity

They are productive, but they are also more likely to be creative than most people; positive thinking and open-mindedness really help them create and think up ideas. When you are positive in your thinking, it becomes easier to devise and envision creative solutions to the problems we face.

Health

It is easier to maintain your physical health, fewer hospital and emergency room visits when you have positive thoughts. Also, we use less medication, resulting in fewer work absences related to success. Better health relates to less overall physical pain.

Happy people tend to have better mental health than others and have fewer symptoms related to mental diseases.

Many of these mental health problems are tied to substance abuse.

Happy people are less likely to be drug users because they have no use for it.

Additionally, happy people are more resilient than unhappy individuals. 

Resilience can be defined as our ability to bounce back and recover from any challenging situation we find ourselves in. 

Happiness means making the most out of the good times and coping with the bad times because these are all experiences we need to face. 

The end result would be living your best life, even when faced with adversity.

To achieve happiness, you must learn to never give up and always stand back up even in the bad times where things don't seem to be looking good. 

Learn to eliminate your negative thoughts and emotions because they don't benefit you and create more challenging situations.

Happiness is an essential experience in our lives, and I believe everyone deserves to feel it. We should always try to stay happy and make the people around us happy in whatever we do.

Happiness isn't only for feeling good, but it also helps us be better people for ourselves, loved ones, and society.

Don't give in to your negative thoughts, but learn to love yourself and always stay happy, it may not be easy, but you will eventually reap the benefits.

Well analysed 🙌 Happiness is a choice, no doubt and no one would like to stay depressed if nothing is wrong with him or her. Everyone want to stay happy but the battles of the mind won't allow, it's not easy to easily forget the things the hurt in the past(battle of the mind is the greatest), but last last, determination brings the win. 💪

As for me, I choose to be happy so no negativity thought can affect me. If you really want you can be happy too, it's your choice, you actually have the choice. So why not choose it right?. For our peace of mind 💪🥂
