I moved to a bigger school when I was in second grade. Unlike kindergarten, which is a short distance from home, first-class school is a short distance away. The new school I entered when I was in second grade took me there.
Long distance: two for jeepney and one for tricycle. I moved from elementary school to high school because it was an academy.
New School. New location. New uniforms. New lunch box. New Classroom. New teacher. New classmates. The new challenge. In the second class, I and a few students moved. Almost all of my classmates get to know each other. Because everyone there was first class. We are all newcomers to kindergarten or first grade. In my second year, I only jumped. I think of it as "the new kid in town."
wouldn't say that my transition to the new school was easy. But I know it has to happen.
So what I learned in second grade was:
Don't be afraid of change. We learn and grow for change. I'm new and no one knows, so I'm on vacation for a while. I'm shy and not born as a politician who is good at making fools and friends. Fortunately, I have two new cousins like me. They may have made friends with me, or they may have felt sympathy for me because I looked like a wet cat.
Since it was lunch break, I was still carrying a suitcase because our house was so far away, I went to school with my cousin and I had dinner at his house. If my mother knew what street and street I was walking on, she was definitely worried. On the road we face, there are bullying, there are addicts. By the grace of God, nothing happened to me. This cousin became my friend, and I was taken to his home for a few months. It helped me to have new friend get "in" because he was good at kicking and he was fast, so even when I was hanging out, it involved me when I played.
Another lesson I learned when I was in 2nd grade:
People with similar challenges in life can understand you and help you. Difficult situations can put you together. I have been friends with my cousin for several years. But one day they moved to school. I really like it. I couldn't even say goodbye to them. Thanks to them, I had a lot of friends when they disappeared.
I was a beginner, so when I was in the second grade, even my kids threatened me. He said he would inform my teacher because my notebook is not healthy and not "kosher". He will let me know if there is something missing in my uniform.
He said he would let me know because I hadn't cut my nails. He said he would let me know because I was so generous. And many other unfounded claims other than the last. When I asked my mother, my classmates said they might be jealous. Alternatively, he's just hungry, so he shares his bag.
So the next time he informed me again, I gave him half of my sandwich. He gladly accepted what I did. He hasn't bothered me since then.
So I learned another lesson:
try to understand what's wrong with you. And if you can do it, just pay back well. When I was in 2nd grade I had a lot of favorite games. For example, Rival Base (also known as Prisoner Base), Chase, Kick and Jolens. In order not to boast, I am a well-recognized hustler who kicks and targets Jolens. One day we were sure to play Jolens. But one classmate was upset when we played.
He left my Jolens, though he was not involved. We told him to stop but he was just a making fun. I was full, so I took his Jolene and threw it into the wall. He was angry and rushed to me. I don't stay away from him. It ended in hand-to-hand combat.
Thank you very much and many older children have asked us. We were not bloody. It was just an emotional injury. I never thought I would fight. I never thought I had Pacquiao blood. Of course our teacher is Miss De Vera scolded me. Even my parents scolded me. But since then nothing has haunted me.
He may have noticed that I feel better when I hit. I have learned to stay away from quarrels and arguments, to avoid and to avoid.
Here's another lesson I learned in second grade:
avoid fighting. But in life there will be a situation where you will have to fight and defend yourself. Of course, I learned a lot in the classroom, such as calculus, biochemistry, and geopolitics. Wait, wait ..... I don't think I learned in second grade. However, my teacher experienced an important lesson from outside the classroom. Yes, I'm not good at kicking and I'm not good at Jolens, but I still have lessons learned in my second year.
