When hubby went shopping earlier this week I asked him to bring apples for our red cabbage on Thanksgiving. I didn't specify that I only needed two or three apples, so hubby bought a whole bag of about 20 apples. What to do with so many apples? Why, of course, apple pie!

Hmm, to buy or not to buy? Good question. I have a pretty good desktop for gaming and typing etc. but it is in a different room of our house. In my 'creative corner,' I have a laptop that is 8 or 9 years old and legitimately needs longer than 5 minutes to just boot up. Not even talking about possible software updates. Hence my desire for a new laptop. Of course, also for traveling.

This morning's daily Splinterland reward, maybe 9 Gold chests. Not the best, at least a couple of cards, quite a bit of SPS, and then - look at the number of potions. Feels like potion inflation, my current potion inventory 186 + 206 potions!

Foodie time!! And right now, despite being the middle of November, it feels more like summer than winter here. Thanks to the tropical storm that came through. Nicole - a tropical rain storm has been moving through my region. All day rain. The perfect day to be alone in the office and focus. Yup, that’s me. After work I went shopping and in the car park while putting away groceries I saw this (1st pic). The drizzle falling from the night sky illuminated by the lamp. It looked kind of spooky. Or so I thought. Until I zoomed in. And saw this (2nd pic) and you may zoom in further. Don’t they look like alien ships? Even spookier. Anyhow, abstracts in nature - love it! Happy weekend!!!

Clinging on to summer, well, at least warmer temperatures. When I visited my sis in Germany bank in September fall was definitely in the air, however we had a few beautiful sunny days we spent in her garden. Naturally, I had to hunt for some photos *warning* more photos Incoming! Most of the sunflowers were in some stage of wilting but this one here still stood strong. So I snapped a pic and then realized that there was a busy bee still at work. So the second pic is a close up of the bee. I love seeing its yellow fuzz 😍. Hopefully, we’ll have a few more warmer days…
