Hmm, to buy or not to buy? Good question. I have a pretty good desktop for gaming and typing etc. but it is in a different room of our house. In my 'creative corner,' I have a laptop that is 8 or 9 years old and legitimately needs longer than 5 minutes to just boot up. Not even talking about possible software updates. Hence my desire for a new laptop. Of course, also for traveling.

Sounds good. If you don't buy it, you could get some crypto.
Do you have a particular crypto in mind? I'd like to check it out and, of course, no financial advice etc. etc 😀 Just curious.
My top 3 are BTC, hive, wax. I have some others but those are my buys. What do you like?
I got rid of my BTC, still have some ETH. Thought the change to POS would change things but - I'm too much of a crypto noob. Sooner or later I'll probably get rid of it, too. Other than those I like Hive, obviously 🤣, LTC and I have some MATIC (Polygon) the rest is not worth mentioning, crypto dust 😆. And I do like WAX, got to get me some. I made some good 'money' selling Dice packs on WAX last year when it was high.
Noob here too , I think if you cant use it, theres not much point in holding it though.
If it really helps you to save time and be more creative buy it, but @Mypathtofire suggestion also not bad :-) You cannot make remote desctop work ? With the Laptop but working on PC?
It is a good suggestion and I might do that... on top of buying the laptop. LOL.
