A good morning from my chili peppers!!! So far, I think I have 10 that will be harvested soon but my chili is still in bloom so I still have more to look forward to! Good morning from my celery too because it finally has a small sprout and I'm just observing it happily. I hope my other plants start sprouting too though

whats the secrer behind that ? hehe i also have my chilli pepper but its been 10months but still looks like a new grown plant .
Maybe the light source? Mine is on the roof and it's been enjoying the light and rain recently
mine also . but why it doesn't grow ? is it beacause of the soil ? haha did you put some fertilizer ?
Maybe the soil cuz I mixed my soil to be a little water retaining but I also made sure the soil still drains out excess water
ah . my plant might lack of care . haha i just kept on watering on it .
Ay yi yi ..... if those chili peppers turn red when ripe, watch out! I bit into one that was about the size of a fingernail, and I literally thought my mouth was on fire. Seriously! I didn't taste anything, just felt a burning sensation.
And that's why you just don't bite into chili 😂😂😂 but yeah, they'll be bright red when they ripen and I think my mom's excited to use them for her garlic-chili paste
I didn't even see the damn thing! It was tiny, and I was eating a taro leaves and rice dish. NOW I look really, really carefully for the little bastards! What's the deal with taro? Apparently all those "elephant ear" type plants are edible, but they require special preparation? We had them growing back in the USA, but we never ate the leaves, just the roots. Maybe we had the wrong kind?
I do think the elephant ear plant needs to be dried to reduce the itchiness. But then I'm not sure if there's other special treatment for it besides drying. But how does one mistake taro for chili?
I don't think even I am clueless enough to do that! The problem was the chili was little, hidden in the taro, and since the taro was yummy, I was gobbling it down. I never saw the chili until I bit into the damn thing. But boy did I feel it!
Ahh yes, I have the same issue when it comes to ginger in food 🤣🤣🤣 but I guess you gotta get used to the chili
Yeah, but ginger is hot but yummy. That little red pepper was just a blast of pain.
Ginger is pain for me 🤣🤣🤣 I'm more used to spicy than weird tastes in my mouth. Ginger comes off as weird for me
Bummer. I LOVE ginger! I'll eat the pieces of it that are in pancit or bihon.
You guys put ginger in pancit????? That's new to me OnO
Okay, I screwed up. I asked my wife about this, and she said we don't put ginger in pancit. "Well how about bihon then?", I asked her. She looked at me like I was crazy, and emphatically said that we don't put ginger in bihon. I asked about noodles, and she also said no. Apparently we only put ginger in meat? So ..... whatever dish ginger is in, pancit or not pancit, I will eat it!
We mostly put ginger in any dish that has coconut, that one is acceptable but I definitely can't imagine ginger in noodles. Not at all 😂😂
Now you understand why I do NOT cook! :-)
And I can imagine your wife kicking you out of the kitchen too 😅😅😅😅
When we still lived in the USA, I tried making soup for my wife one time when she was ill. It did not turn out very well. I had to go out and buy some food for us to eat.
So now she's learned very well that one she can take over the kitchen 😂😂😂
