The Good Old Days

Today's article is about reminiscing about the good times when everything was good and nice. I think we all do that once in a while. It is a very good way of reminding ourselves that in life there will always be the good times even when everything seems to be going south.

I remember back in the day when I was still very young, everything thing about life was nice, little or no stress at all, there was literally little to think about because we left all that to our parents or guardians to do that for us. All we knew about then was the joyful and exciting part of life, simple thoughts, elementary school, cartoon shows, beautiful excursions, and so on.

Even though we were still very little, we all had those beautiful moments we can never forget. Back then life was literally a bed of roses.Never did we know that as time began to pass and we started to grow, the roses grew up with us and as we began to learn more about life we began to notice that the roses had thorns.

We started to find out how harsh life could get, how there would be good days and bad days, days where we will feel like we can conquer the world and days that we feel like we are total failures. Back then we all wanted to grow up so fast, thinking that life will always be the way we imagined it in our young and tender minds. Sadly it was just all in our imagination and right now we are facing the battle we call life.

But we should not be despaired because we are constantly winning, always remember that every time you wake up in the morning of a new day, you were victorious in the battle life threw at you yesterday and with that same fighting spirit you have developed over the years, you are always in the advantage to win every battle life throws at you every single day.Reminiscing about the good old days should always remind us about how capable we are, how strong and determined we are, how we are still growing, learning and how much potential we have in us to be great, greater than we ever imagined.

The good old days are the good old days. There are better days ahead. Keep your head up. And cheers to better days🍷.
