The war of independence of Bangladesh started on 25 March 1971. Achieving independence was a glorious chapter for the Bengalis. The Bengali workers-peasants, intellectuals , doctors and engineers lost their lives in this war.

After a long 9 month war, our freedom was achieved in exchange for the blood of 3 million martyrs.
