#Semantics: (#শব্দার্থবিদ্যা) বাংলায় যেমন ব্যবহারের ভিত্তিতে একই শব্দের অর্থ একেক জায়গায় একেক রকম হয়, তেমনি ইংরেজিতেও হয়।
✅এই ব্যবহারভেদে শব্দের অর্থের পরিবর্তন নিয়ে আলোচনা করার যে বিদ্যা সেটা হল Semantics বা শব্দার্থবিদ্যা। যেমন: মাথা ঘামানো- মানে আসলে মাথা গরমে ঘেমে যাওয়া না, বরং চিন্তা করা। এটা ভাষাবিদ্যার অর্থতত্ত্বে খুব গুরুত্ত্বের সাথে আলোচিত হয়।

b)The branch of linguistics that deals with the study of meaning, changes in meaning, and the principles that govern the relationship between sentences or words and their meanings.

#SYNTAX: Syntax বোঝা খুব সহজ, এটা হলো বাক্যের আমরা যে একটা বৈশিষ্ট্য পড়েছি “আসত্তি” সেটাই। যেমন: ‘আমি খাই ভাত’, এটা বললে বক্তার বক্তব্য বোঝা যায় কিন্তু ‘আমি ভাত খাই’ বললে ভাল শোনা যায়।
✅কোন পদের পর কোন পদ বসবে এটার আলোচনাই হলো Syntax, সোজা কথায় বাক্যে পদবিন্যাস হল Syntax.
