Adamjee Cantonment College

Adamjee Cantonment College, A higher secondary institution which is situated in Dhaka Cantonment.

The college is guided by Bangladesh Army.

In 1960, it was established. It was established according to the ancient ideal of England.

A Pakistani Businessman,named Gull Mohammed Adamjee is the founder of this college.

In 16 February,1960, this businessman founded the college. In that time there was only English Version. After the independence of Bangladesh, Bangla Version also included in the college. In 1995 College section has been separated from the school section.

The total area of Adamjee Cantonment college is 10 Acres.

There are an administrative building, a science building, a library building, a BBA building, a masters building, a mosque, several flower gardens, a cafeteria, a playground, a Shahid Minar and a Manch named Shahid Rumi Manch.

There are so many clubs in this college as the students can participate in co-curricular activities and can express their hidden talents.

Now there are 100 permanent teachers and so many part time teachers, there are more than 5000 students studying in the college. The college is always directed by a Bigradier General of Bangladesh Army.

The Motto of the college is -"Education,Discipline,Morality"

There are four houses named with Jahangir House ( J ), Hamidur House ( H ), Rauf House (R), Mostofa House (M).

Ayman Sadiq, Tony Dias, Tareq Masud, Shafi Imam Rumi, Salman Shah and many more.

It's a great fortune for me that I am part of this college,in 2015 I admitted in this college.

From 25 July of 2015, my journey in this college was begun. All the corner, all the leaves of the trees and the grasses of the college touch me always and I miss the memories of my college.

I feel proud that I was a student of such a college. I always want to go back to the college and feel the beauty of the college.

The college is fully covered with green,flowers and trees. A natural environment always remain there.
