DREAM is the personal experience of imaginary images, sounds / voices, thoughts or feelings while asleep, often involuntarily. Dream is related to rapid eye movement (REM) in English while sleeping, a light form of sleep that occurs in the latter part of sleep, characterized by rapid horizontal eye movement, arousal of pons, increase of respiratory rate and heart rate, and temporary paralysis of the body. It can also occur later in sleep, although it is not very common.

Hypnogogia is thought to be related to the dream, occurring spontaneously while approaching deep sleep. Dream is a language of imagery. This imaginary picture ranges from ordinary to meaningless; in reality, these dreams are often motivated by artistic and other forms of inspiration. Dream forms include scary or disturbing nightmares and erotic dreams along with sexual images and nighttime appearances. Most scientists believe that dreams happen to everyone with the equivalent of usually every amount of sleep.

Therefore, if individuals feel that they have not dreamed or that they have a dream one night, it is because of the fading of their dream memory. This "erasure" is found in the aspect of the dream state when a person wakes up by smoothly changing from REM sleep to delta sleep until waking. If a person wakes up from REM sleep (for example with an alarm clock), they are more likely to remember the dream from that REM period (although they may not remember all the dreams because they occur during REM times, which disturbed during delta sleep periods that cause fading memories of past dreams.)

It is positive that real dreams are happening to Homo sapiens, but many believe that other species also dream. Animals certainly go through REM sleep, but it is difficult to define their personal experience. Armadillo has the longest period of REM sleep. It seems that only mammals, or most often, dream naturally, which is probably related to their sleep characteristics.

Characteristic

Dreams often occur in the REM (rapid-eye movement) stage of sleep, when the brain also seems to be awake. REM can be seen in continuous eye movements every time a person sleeps. Dreams can also occur at other levels of sleep, but these dreams are often less remembered.

The length of a dream varies from just a few seconds to 20-30 minutes. Man remembers his dream better when he wakes up in the REM stage of his sleep. People often have three to five dreams every night, and there are up to seven, but many of these dreams are quickly forgotten. Dreams lengthen as the night deepens. In a total of eight hours of sleep, many dreams occur within two hours of REM.

In modern times, dreams are seen as a connection to the unconscious. It ranges from the normal and ordinary to the most unique and whimsical. Dreams come in many forms such as scary, exciting, mysterious, sad, animos, or sexual. Dream events are usually out of the dreamer's control, except for lucid dreaming in which the dreamer has self-awareness. Sometimes dreams can give creative ideas or inspiration.

Dream opinions

Opinions about the meaning of dreams vary and vary with time and culture. Most people today seem to support Freudian theory - that dreams reveal an understanding of hidden desires and emotions. Among other popular theories are those that say that dreams help build memory, solve problems, or are simply a product of brain brain activity. The earliest recorded dream was found in Mesopotamia, recorded on clay tablets estimated to be over 5000 years old. In the days of the Greeks and Romans, people believed that dreams were direct messages from one or more Gods, or the dead, and they indicated the future. Other cultures have practiced dream incubation, a method of dream maturation. It aims to illuminate dreams with vision.

Sigmund Freud, the founder of the discipline of psychoanalysis, wrote passionately about dream theories and their interpretation in the early 1900s. He explained that dreams are manifestations of our deepest desire and concern, often associated to forgotten youthful memories or obsessions. Additionally, he also believed that almost every subject of the dream, regardless of content, represented the release of sexual tension. In The Interpretation of Dreams (1899), Freud developed a psychological method of interpreting dreams, and he also outlined a series of guidelines for understanding the symbols and subjects that appear in our dreams.

Do you often dream. ??
