Takhto Lake!

The jeep unloads from the Pattan area on the Karakoram Highway to the village of Shrid in three and a half hours, also known as the Valley of the Pals. From there the mountaineering begins. Takhto Lake is a lake located at an altitude of 4070 meters after passing through Jhalu Behk and Dadar Behk along the canal leading from the village of Farrogha.

It takes at least four dao ghere. This photo was taken from an altitude of 4200m. There is no food or accommodation along the way so take your food with you. Thanks
