Today we read a topic of Dialysis and Artificial kidney in our online class.
So I decided to tell you about it because its very important to know about it.
Dialysis:
It is a process in which the waste products of our body is eliminated to clean the blood if our kidney is not functioning properly.
We have its two types
1. Hemodialysis
2. Peritoneal Dialysis
I'll discuss these two types in next post.
Its complication depends on the patient's condition like age, disease other than kidney disease and many others factors.
Artificial kidney:
It is machine used to clean the blood if we have dis functioning in our kidney .
It is used to treat the patients who are suffering from.
1. Acute Renal failure
2. Chronic or permanent renal failure
