Today is Christmas in Russia. I heartily congratulate everyone who celebrates it on this day❤️🌟 Usually my husband and I go to the night Liturgy from 6 to 7 January. That's very beautiful. But this time I was recovering from the illness for a long time, so we went in the morning. The temple was full of people, they greeted the newly born Christ Child with a pure heart after communion. I want to show you our temple inside and the Christmas cave on the street. On the ceiling of the temple is the world's largest icon of All Saints. It's huge! And the dish in the photo is "sochivo", it is eaten on Christmas Eve to refresh before the night Liturgy, because according to tradition, Orthodox Christians on January 6 have a strict fast until the first star . Usually sochivo is made from wheat or rice with poppy seeds, but the people have a rich imagination and what it is not made from😃  My option: rice, honey, nuts (walnuts, almonds and cashews), dried apricots, raisins and prunes. Happy day to you, friends!🌟🎄✨🌴☀️ #originalcontent #photography #Christmas #temple #church #traditions #food
