السلام عليكم
Peace be upon you
Today we will learn how to say this/that in Arabic 😊...
So Let's start 😁
هذا (Hada) means This (Masculine)
هذا كتاب
(Hada Kitab)
This is a book
هذا قلم
(Hada QOlam)
This is a pen
هذه (Hadihi) means this (feminine)
هذه شجرة
(Hadihi ShajarO)
This is a tree
But question is "How you'll detect if the word/object/subject is feminine"?
Well, actually there are a lot of rules and patterns in Arabic to do that, But simple rule is if you see a ة after the subject/object (not everytime, but generally) be sure that it's feminine gender.
Samples: مدرسة (Madrasa) is a feminine-gender based word because we can found it as a noun and it contains ة as a last character of that .
So if you want to tell that "This is a Madrasa (School)" , in Arabic you can simply tell that "هذه مدرسة" (hadihi Madrasa) ...
Now it's time to listen "How to say that is ... in Arabic"
Okay let's start 😅....
ذلك (Dhalika) means That (Masculine)
ذلك كتاب
(Dhalika Kitab)
That is a book
ذلك بيت
(Dhalika Baiytun)
That is a house
Actually same, but you have to make some changes when you'll tell "that is a ..." (For feminine gender based words)
This time .....
تلك (tilka) means that (feminine)
تلك مدرسة
That is an school
So your homework is to make some sentences ...
1) This is a car.
2) That is a river.
etc and just comment down them...
{THANK YOU}{SO MUCH}
[HAPPY LEARNING]
