These are wonderful words to say to a Teacher as an appreciation of their great contribution in our lives. These words are like beautiful songs and lullabies that are therapeutic to the ears and enriching to the soul.

Teachers Equip Every Learner with the Knowledge They Need

The learning starts from an early age of a child. Before the start of formal schooling, a child is already exposed to learning by copying the behavior of anyone around him at home. The parents and siblings first play the role of a teacher to the child. So, it is of much importance that they influence the child in a good way.

During the elementary years, from grades 1-6, that's when the child first learn through the help of a professional teacher, may it be in school or in homeschool. Secondary to College, then College to the highest degree given by a university for an individual, teachers are always imparting their knowledge and experties of subjects to the learners.

The teacher plays an extremely important role to an individual's learning development. From ABC's and counting 123's until our choosing a career and path of our own, teachers give us quality education to equip us, and prepare us for life that awaits us.

The Qualities of a Good Teacher

Teaching is not an easy profession. It is a vocational and a missionary work. Shaping your student's future is in the palm of your hands. You either pave a way for their good future or you'll be a stumbling point for them to have possibly have a bright future.

A good teacher must possess these qualities in order for you to play your vital role in the lives of your students. These atrributes are written in no particular order.

• Ability to teach - Everyone can be a teacher but not everyone have what it takes to be a good teacher. Good teachers are competitive and skillfull.

• Dedication- a teacher must be dedicated to his work. For the purpose of changing the lives of the students.

• Patient, Kind, and Caring- to be a good teacher, one must be patient in dealing with the diverse students. He must be kind to every single one of them and understand every situation they have. Know how they feel, and behaves inside the four corners of the classroom. Being patient and kind also imply that you care for their welfare by and validating their emotions.

• Hardworking- Teaching is a pretty demanding profession. There are mny things that you need to do. Such are the classroom management, school forms, reports, couselling, etc. A good teacher must be diligent in doing his tasks and shows much effort for his work to be done effectively.

• Emphatic- a teacher understand the diverse learners on a personal level. He must know of their feelings, family backgrounds, and share with their emotions to fully understand the behavior inside the classroom.

Looking at the list makes me realise that teaching entail great responsibilities. Thus, show your appreciation to them in any way you can. It'll surely give them more reasons to continue their journey in an optimistic manner.

Wonderful Ways to Say Thank You to Your Teacher

There are many wonderful ways for you to do in showing that you are thankful for your teacher. Saying word of thanks is powerful. It will someone's day brighter. Here are some of it:

• Write a letter consisting of the things that you are thankful for about your teacher. Teachers are appreciative. So, they'll surely keep it.

• Be artistic. You may write a poem, make a sketch of your teacher, or you create a scrapbook with pictures and memories you have together with your teacher

• and you may simply give them flowers and say your thank you's to your teacher
